Help drive the Windows compute strategy for Visa.
Windows Engineering team seeks a high caliber, proven engineering resource, with excellent technical acumen to Cloud Engineering services portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess an analytical mind, excellent communication skills, and superior implementation experience with the desire and determination to grow the delivery of VISA’s distributed offerings. S/he designs, implements, integrates and supports Cloud Infrastructure Components.

Bachelor’s degree/Master's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field is required

Six or more years of solid experience working in complex / geographically distributed Windows environments.
Hands on experience in an IT Engineering role and established IT operations methodology experience (e.g. ITSM/ITIL)

Extensive Experience using and designing virtualization technologies from VMware / Microsoft in complex / geographically distributed production environment.

Experience and understanding of x86 system architectures (HP, Dell)

Experience installing, configuring, supporting and maintaining Windows Failover Clusters / Availability Groups across geographies.
Experience installing, configuring, supporting and maintaining multiple Active Directory Forests / Domains / Trusts

Strong Experience installing, configuring, supporting and maintaining highly available large scale Microsoft Hyper-V environments

Strong Experience in scripting using Powershell / VBScript

Experience designing cloud based solutions using AWS / Azure / Google Cloud.

Experience designing / working with Windows Container based solutions.

Strong designing, analytical, programming & communication skills needed along with aptitude for building stable solutions

Highly motivated, enterprising, excellent team player, also able to work autonomously

Knowledge of key Data Center concepts such as Disaster Recovery, Compliance, Elasticity, Monitoring, and Consolidation

Proven accomplishments and success in customizing, integrating and implementing enterprise solutions.
