In this role, you will be required to monitor and manage effective partner relationships with our payment partners, both Bank and Non-bank Financial Institutions across Asia.

 

What we expect of you, day to day... 

To manage and maintain adequate coverage of payment network Partner routes and relationships across the geography

Deliver quarterly Account Management reviews with every active partner. Work with central Bank Partner Network team and Regional Management to produce operational and commercial analysis, clear feedback and meeting objectives and messages. Deliver annual in-person meetings with all partners even non-active one review status.

Agree technical improvement objectives and performance requirements for routes with network delivery team. Actively manage partner improvements to plan via quarterly review meetings and specific engagements to discuss technical and service levels and issues.

Agree and manage a performance improvement list of partners for the geography and actively manage partner performance with support of central team to improve service levels and commercial performance

Work with the central Bank Partner Network team and Regional Management to monitor partner cost and competitiveness. Manage cost negotiations with partners to continuously strive for tiered, cost effective pricing

Develop and maintain senior working relationships with relevant management personnel in banking and non-banking partner businesses. Through structured, professional, informed and professional dialogue demonstrate Earthport as a highly experienced, credible and compelling payment banking partner worthy of relationships at senior levels of its partner companies

Work with wider Bank Partner Network team and sales and marketing, to identify, plan and deliver effective marketing and brand building events and engagements with clients and partners. 

About the Team

This is the Bank Network Partner team. The proposed headcount is to be confirmed as the team go through a period of growth.

Qualifications

What we're after. 

  • Degree level schooling, or equivalent professional experience 
  • Junior to mid level relevant experience in a global bank or payment company
  • Experience in dealing with banks across Asia
  • Knowledge of Global Payments
  • Experience in Account Management
  • Experience in Sales and Business Development
  • Ability to Influence and build relationship with financial institutions in the region
  • Track record of business development and identification of potential partners
  • Knowledge of the payment systems in the region
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with strong English business language
  • Problem solving and resolving conflicts; perseverance and patience
  • Team player considerate of the bigger picture and whole team purpose and priorities
  • A strong and confident individual operator capable of taking informed decisions

Additional Information

This role will be based at the Earthport offices in the City of London.
