Job Description

Summary of Work

•        Role will be focused on Network security control protection and assurance which includes: Communication, notification, monitoring and support for Network controls like IDS, Cloud etc

Support Health monitoring of Network Sensors and ensure TSR compliance

Work with VSIRT team to improve security posture

Any other tasks assigned per business requirements.

•        20% of the role will also focus on

Create clear and concise documentation to formalize work stream processes.

Work alongside a world-class and high performance security team  

Effectively manage reported system, application and device vulnerabilities

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 months of work experience or a Bachelor's Degree

Preferred

  •  Strong technical and business understanding of network security tools like wireshark, Moloch , methodologies to securely sandbox working environments. 
  • In depth knowledge of network technologies, TCP/IP protocol stack,  and troubleshooting production services.
  • Knowledge of Python, Splunk etc
  • BS in Computer Science or related degree preferred. 
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Incumbent must make themselves available during core business hours.

  • This position does not require the incumbent to travel.

Physical Requirements

  • This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, reach with hands and arms, and bend or lift up to 25 pounds.
