Job Description

We are looking for a passionate, authentic, and dynamic leader to drive engagement and business growth with CyberSource and Authorize.Net’s most strategic acquiring partnerships. This role will be charged with growing these partnerships through additional product acceptance, sales trainings, promotions, and other creative means. We are looking for a trusted client focused business leader to help drive business growth.

 The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter that can work independently in a fast paced, ambiguous environment with limited supervision. He or she must be a fast learner, who can quickly absorb the nuances of CyberSource, Authorize.Net, & Visa Merchant and Acquiring Products and Services. This candidate must be a business leader with the capability of communicating across all levels of an organization. This role will be charged with driving revenue and managing relationships within an assigned region of unmanaged acquiring partnerships.

Essential Functions

•  Be a vocal champion for partners across multiple internal functions to ensure partners needs and expectations are meet

•  Identify and grow strategic partnerships within a given portfolio with a focus on revenue creation

•  Drive and lead key partner initiatives and programs with in the sales organization, and with key internal partners such as marketing and operations

•  This includes the ability to be viewed as a strong business leader representing the voice of the client/partner to ensure right outcomes are achieved

•  Evaluate partner trends and provide recommendations to help drive business and revenue growth

•  Drive channel sales growth by proactively evangelizing products and solutions to partners

•  Organize and lead sales/product trainings for acquiring partner sales teams

•  Present to large groups including both internal and external

•  Be able to properly communicate with executive level management both internally and externally

•  Coordinate closely with Marketing and Product teams to drive partner aligned solutions and priorities

•  Where appropriate, lead and conduct quarterly business reviews with regional partners

•  Manage inbound call queue of new partnership opportunities, and close on those opportunities

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: 

  • 2 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • 3 or more years of work experience or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)

•  Specific, current knowledge of merchant / acquirer processing, payment gateways, APIs, and authorization/settlement flows.

•  Deep understanding of partner sales channels and the go-to-market mechanics that drive success

•  Experience working within large teams

•  Demonstrated success in the prospecting and closing of new partnerships, and re-invigorating existing partnerships 

•  Ability to lead by example and embody the Visa Leadership Principles

•  Strong teamwork skills and excellent collaboration skills with experience influencing work streams across functions

•  Results driven and flexible

•  Ability to achieve a revenue goal

•  Self-motivated

•  “Client-first” mindset, with significant experience interacting with senior teams within client organizations

•  Presentation/speaking experience

•  1-3 years working in a partner sales environment, or similar

Work Hours: 

Incumbent must make themselves available during core business hours

Mental/Physical Requirements:

This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, and reach with hands and arms
