Job Description

1. Purpose

Management and implementation of Visa brand marketing campaigns for the selected consumer segments at market level that support the achievement of local business and brand objectives.

2. Principle Responsibilities/Key Results Area

Work to grow Visa’s client business by delivering marketing solutions that maximize revenue and profitability for assigned products and services.

Apply analysis of card payment trends, market opportunities, cardholder behaviour in order to make strategic recommendations on future business direction and marketing communication strategy, as well as implement tactical marketing initiatives designed to meet short term client and market needs. Suggest relevant Visa-led marketing campaigns, help to identify partnership opportunities with merchants, implement the campaigns in cross functional teams and develop communication tool-kits for the clients in order to communicate the activities

Coordinate research projects together with the CEMEA hub team.

Continually monitor existing and potential competitor marketing activities to identify new opportunities or highlight potential causes for business concern.  Feedback and update all staff as appropriate and recommend strategies and solutions

Enable the country management team and other stakeholders (e,g, other related functions) to influence development of marketing strategies and program development. Ensure key stakeholders are fully informed of all campaign activities beforehand, accommodate their feedback/input and act accordingly. Manage cross functional teams.

Manage the allocated budget for respective assets and activities and ensure all activities are performed within parameters fully an on time in accordance with Visa policies and requirements.

Provide quantitative post-campaign and regular performance analysis in due time and incorporate learnings into future projects.

Actively support the global brand strategy by ensuring all campaigns comply with the brand strategy and visual and verbal guidelines & Visa policies.

Serve as local Center of Excellence for the CIS SEE region for all the key strategies. Be in constant contact with the regional Centers of Excellence on key strategies, gather best practices throughout the world and share it  with other Visa Regional offices. Provide brand related induction to the new members of the team, support them with all the brand related knowledge and train them on Visa brand guidelines understanding.

Effectively manage all stakeholders responsible for the successful implementation of a campaign including agencies, suppliers, merchants and  banks and others as appropriate

Manage all marketing agency relationships, including annual evaluation and scoping process ownership during agency fee negotiations.

Develop and implement integrated client marketing plan for assigned client business on a yearly basis and update quarterly as appropriate, if needed

 

3. Financial & Organizational Scope

Administration of the marketing budget to include monitoring, budget log management, variance analysis, liaison with finance and reporting of monthly budget forecasts.

4. Reporting Relationships & Interactions

This position reports to Marketing Senior Director.  The candidate will interact with various levels of management across the organization in CIS SEE and within CEMEA. Strong interpersonal skills are required to address on-going needs of the organization.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in business or a related field with a marketing foundation

Demonstrated track record in the development and implementation of integrated campaigns as well as marketing consultancy and agency management 

Experience in social/ digital marketing

Strong adherence to internal processes in highly controlled environment

Strong communication and influencing skills at all levels with all stakeholders, team player able to coordinate cross functional teams

Innovative and creative thinker with a track record of delivery and proven ability to manage several projects concurrently and see them through from conception to conclusion

Must have worked in an international environment, familiarity with culture and values is of paramount importance

Multicultural sensitivity and interpersonal relationship management skills are essential including the ability to work effectively as part of a decentralised marketing function and a multi-functional  office team

Must be comfortable working in a fast paced, hands-on, growth orientated work environment

Must be self-confident and able to think on their feet

Strong personal motivation and commitment

Proficient Russian&English speaker.
