Job Description

PURPOSE

The primary focus of this role is to consolidate the CEMEA revenue budget, forecast and reporting taking inputs from regional finance teams, which includes accountability to provide final deliverables, ensuring they are consistent and aligned with corporate reporting requirements.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY RESULTS

Revenue Analytics

The role is responsible for designing and maintaining complex financial models to support the revenue planning and forecasting for the CEMEA geographies and products. Focus is on optimizing level of detail, accuracy and clarity of calculations.

  • Coordinate the information flow between Global, CEMEA and Regions, cascade targets, consolidate both top-down, and bottom-up process. Collaborate with other internal stakeholders (functions, BPO team) to ensure timely submissions and correct inputs.

  • Assist in managing the revenue forecasting process with finance business partners. Develop metrics to improve forecasting accuracy and promote best practices across regional finance teams. Coordinate submissions from sub-regions and consolidate analysis and comments. Produce final materials for executive management reviews and approval.

  • Lead the production of key business drivers (volumes and transactions) for the use in strategic planning, annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting.

  • Map and analyze across all Visa revenue streams. Develop models to run Volume trend analysis (International vs. Domestic).

  • Prepare materials for Executive committees and regional leadership, ensuring accurate and timely submission. Consistently improve the communication flow whilst minimizing duplications in requests and preparation. Key Performance Indicator: Meet deadlines.

  • Work to develop and continually evolve innovative analytical techniques and methodologies to measure revenue performance. Collaboration with the regional and hub finance teams to enhance the quality of management reports relating to revenue. On an ad-hoc basis, perform revenue analysis and reporting for management. Key Performance Indicator:  Improve reporting/forecast accuracy and timeline.

Teamwork

  • The role is based on the CEMEA Hub, Dubai office, and reports into the Director Revenue, CEMEA based in the same office.

  • Actively contribute to the effectiveness of the team by supporting and co-operating with colleagues and providing cover during period of absence.

  • The flexibility to liaise with various functions both within Visa and externally to deliver ad-hoc projects.

  • This individual is expected to interact effectively with various levels of Visa management and their multi regional staff.

  • Strong interpersonal skills will be required to address on-going needs of a complex, matrix reporting structure and multinational organization.

  • Multicultural sensitivity and interpersonal relationship management skills are essential including the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Qualifications

Professional

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or equivalent related field.

  • At least 3 to 5 years of Finance working experience, mastery in core finance skills and competencies with demonstrated experience across a range of difficult natured projects, preferably in a multinational organization.

Technical

  • High proficiency across Microsoft Office Suite products (emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint).

  • Working knowledge in financial planning systems such as TM1 and Hyperion.

  • Practical knowledge of US GAAP.

  • Proven expertise in modelling techniques and managing large data sets, demonstrate ability to understand, define and improve mapping between different sets.

  • Business English, written and spoken.

  • Ability to learn and master Visa specific tools.

  • Self-motivated and possessing a can do attitude.

  • Detail orientated, always ensuring timely deliver to highest level of accuracy.
