What’s it all about?
At the heart of Visa lies a secure, global payments processing network that for 40 years has empowered people, businesses and governments in 200 countries. We are in the midst of profound change, enabling us to innovate like never before and transform and refresh our technology assets to set the foundation for the next several decades.
The Innovation Development team are building new payment platforms beyond the card, as well as opening our technology platforms to enable industry collaboration and innovation through co-development. We work on solving hard problems of the future in IoT, Blockchain, Mobile, Front-end, Machine Learning, and Data Analytics. We are looking for enthusiastic and creative Automation Testers to help us build some innovative products and pilots.
What we expect of you, day to day.
This role requires quick problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and application of programming techniques to design, build, and maintain code. Good knowledge of computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms is required.
We expect you to be an active member of the team, proactively building test environments, creating test plans and performing some DevOps tasks including building deployment pipelines.
Automation Testers may work across development, test and support on cool things like:
- Defining automation test procedures and processes
- Introducing new technology to solve testing problems
- Testing of new innovative products, on backend, web, mobile and IoT platforms
- Work with new blue-sky technologies in fields like IoT, Biometrics, Automation and Robotics
- Support client co-creations, working with technical teams from partner organisations like issuers and acquirers

We’re looking for the next generation of Techies - dreamers, disruptors, creatives and trailblazers - who are fascinated by new technology and want to be empowered to change the way business is done.
Therefore, our requirements are few:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a STEM/technical field, or equivalent experience
- Experience testing APIs and applications in programming languages like Java, C++, C# or Kotlin
Experience testing mobile applications is advantageous.
