Job Description

We are seeking a proactive finance leader to join the Finance team supporting CyberSource, a leading global provider of credit card processing, fraud and security risk management solutions. The Finance team uses a consultative model with key stakeholders in the business to apply data to business and finance decisions as well as measure performance. As a finance business partner this person will cultivate operational partnerships to drive strategic and financial thought leadership and successfully complete the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and month-end reporting processes.

Essential Functions:

  • Leads the coordination, organization and execution of quantitative and qualitative analyses. Examples of activities include traditional budgeting and forecasting, month-end close, enhanced financial/business reporting, business case development, pricing analysis, P&L generation and business planning support.
  • Supports deal review activities and business case development for key initiatives.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with a broad base of key stakeholders (i.e., executives and staff) in the business and serves as a key point of contact for finance issues.
  • Acquires and maintains a deep understanding of the strategies, priorities and issues of the business.
  • Applies overall analytical skills and experience to become a highly valued business partner.
  • Identifies and implements changes that improve efficiency and effectiveness of operational decision making.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2 years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree in finance, engineering, accounting, mathematics, economics, statistics or related quantitative field or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
  • At least 3 years of relevant financial analysis work experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking or management consulting
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel and strong skills in Powerpoint

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding analytical and quantitative skills; ability to resolve tough business problems with well-structured analyses
  • Ability to cultivate effective relationships and communicate effectively cross-functionally and with all levels of management
  • Proven expertise in modeling techniques and managing large data sets
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment with changing priorities
  • Attention to detail and accuracy are extremely critical
  • Ability to work effectively with cross functional teams and produce time sensitive deliverables
  • Strong curiosity to connect the dots and tell the story through the financials
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment with changing priorities
  • Be eligible to work in United States without work authorization sponsorship now or anytime in the future

Additional Information

Work Hours:

  • Incumbent must make themselves available during core business hours

Travel Requirements:

  • This position requires the incumbent to travel for work 10% of the time. Position is based in Foster City but frequent work in SF office is expected.

Mental/Physical Requirements:

  • This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, reach with hands and arms, and bend or lift up to 25 pounds
