Job Description

What's it all about?

A very exciting opportunity has been created to lead the Sales and Relationship Management for a selection of Belgian issuing clients. The role will encompass strategically driving all initiatives from strategic development, achievement of Key Performance Indicators, delivery and planning.

 

What we expect of you, day to day... 

The senior account executive will be accountable for managing all aspects of assigned accounts in Belgium. The candidate will be responsible for all complexities associated with managing key customers and internal Visa organisation.

  • Manage credit and debit portfolio scorecards

  • Develop and grow local market share by both identifying, developing and securing new business opportunities and expanding existing business

  • Work with senior members of the bank’s card business to design, launch and drive strategic initiatives

  • Expand the level of relationships with the account into other bank divisions

  • Ensure smooth delivery of day-to-day support by Visa for the bank’s cards business

  • Ensure high bank satisfaction

Qualifications

What we're after.

  • Degree or equivalent professional experience 

  • Speak fluently in English, French and Dutch

  • Have a successful proven track record in card industry sales/marketing/product management or closely related retail banking environment

  • Have experience and capacity to become a respected and valued partner at multiple levels within the banks and Visa

  • Be commercially focussed and pragmatic

  • Apply challenger sales techniques

  • Have excellent analytical skills

  • Excellent networker and has established contacts in the Belgian banking/card industry

  • Is a self-motivated employee who can work alone and in a team

  • Possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as member of a team, to communicate clearly with both colleagues and clients, to be able to lead and motivate within a matrix organisation

This position will suit an enthusiastic individual who is willing to travel and who is able to develop new networks rapidly, within the leading global payment company.
