Job Description

Overview

We’re looking for a creative, strategic Senior Designer to join our new Brand Experiences team, within New Product Development, Innovation & Design to help revolutionize the way people pay. 

This designer will report to the Design Director for Brand Experiences to bring brand storytelling, strategy, design, and experience to life. S/he will work closely and collaboratively with product, brand, marketing, content, business development, and sales to inform and push the boundaries of our Customer Experience. 

You will be empowered and challenged to explore concepts and opportunities to evolve our Customer Experience. This position requires you to be self-motivated, proactive, and be able to thrive with a level of ambiguity. 

Principle Responsibilities:

·      Collaborate with product, design, brand and marketing to create a unified end-to-end Customer Experience

·      Help evolve existing digital, B2B, B2C, and B2B2C user experiences

·      Bring powerful human insights to life through strategy and design

·      Develop creative systems, style guides, and any other processes necessary to execute our brand strategy and deliver consistent brand experiences both online and offline

·      Spark fresh ideas that are infused in our culture and our products

·      Lead multiple projects concurrently and manage stakeholders

·      Provide and translate insightful data through research, interviews, testing, collaboration, and brainstorming

·      Infuse and evolve the Visa brand story in all touchpoints through visuals, voice, and experience

·      Commission and synthesize research, collaborating with internal research team as well as working with agencies

·      Be an advocate for our customers

Qualifications

·      A minimum 5+ years in related professional work

·      Passionate about creating great user experiences to the point of obsession

·      Experience designing world-class user interfaces for the web and mobile.

·      Strong storytelling abilities, both written and visual

·      Strong verbal and written communication skills

·      Proven ability to work independently, collaboratively, and also provide guidance and direction to help others 

·      Enthusiasm and passion for quality

·      Low ego

·      Team player

Additional Information

This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, and reach with hands and arms.
