The Global Network Processing organization at Visa has overall business responsibility for growing network processing on VisaNet globally.
What a Director, Global Network Processing – Greater China does at Visa:
The Director, Global Network Processing – Greater China will serve as the network processing subject matter expert for Greater China. The role will include responsibility for integration of business and processing, while achieving synergies of processing and product strategies. The Director will be expected to champion existing Visa processing assets and drive strategic expansion of network processing share, while partnering with Business Development and Product leads. The role will also include long/short term planning, analysis and execution of strategic processing initiatives.
Reporting directly to the Vice President, Global Network Processing AP, the Director, Global Network Processing Greater China, will be expected to interact effectively with all levels of Visa, clients and partners, management and staff. This position will involve frequent interaction and communication with key Visa stakeholders, including Acquirers, Issuers, Industry Organizations, Governments, Processors and Vendors.
The position will be based in Visa’s Beijing or Shanghai China offices and requires business travel as dictated by business needs.

Projects you will be a part of:
Lead the development and evolution of Visa’s network processing strategy as a critical member of the China market entry team and be involved in regulator and partner engagements.
Develop and manage network processing products to drive relevance and revenue growth for Greater China markets, working across cross-functional teams including Products, Client Services and Technology.
Engage in a broad range of solution development with external processing partners, domestic switches, eCommerce gateways and technology partners, etc to expand Visa products and services aimed at achieving Visa’s strategic agenda in Greater China markets.
Develop and implement Visa’s ATM strategy in Greater China markets.
Be the “go to” person for network processing solutions for internal and external stakeholders.
What you will need:
10+ years of progressively responsible business experience.
Extensive knowledge and experience of payment and/or financial sector; local payment processing, issuer and acquirer’s business and systems, ecommerce, digital are a plus.
Superior analytical and problem solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor addressing a wide variety of functional business problems.
Ability to quickly assess an opportunity's potential, leveraging fact-based analyses and industry experience.
Superior experiences of engagements and delivery of various business and technology projects.
Ability to work independently within a complex and often ambiguous environment, to drive rigorous, fact-based recommendations to stakeholders and to juggle multiple initiatives at once.
Leadership in an international working environment. Demonstrated ability to work with large, cross-functional (e.g. product, technology, sales, strategy, legal, finance etc) and cross-regional teams.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and the proven ability to influence and communicate effectively across global, regional and Greater China functional lines.
Superior experience managing strategic relationships with financial services and/or technology solution providers.
Demonstrated ability to work closely with external partners’ C-level executives to present Visa’s strategic vision and negotiate effectively on behalf of the company.
Advanced Mandarin and English language capability.
Bachelor degree in Commerce, Economics, Engineering, Science or a similar field. Advanced degree is a plus.
