Job Description

We have a unique opportunity within Visa’s Product organization that calls for an ambitious, highly analytical professional to develop pricing models and sound recommendations through fact-based insights acquired through in-market stakeholders, market research and analysis.  You will have access and exposure to global senior product leadership and will participate in the analysis, preparation, and presentation of pricing recommendations that will drive global ATM product growth. 

The successful candidate will apply a diverse skillset, and requires the ability to apply strong analytical, financial modelling and critical thinking skills to define pricing recommendations that drive product and revenue growth. 

  • Essential Functions

  • Produce pricing models/schemes for ATM products and services
  • Lead data modeling/structuring to help evaluate and inform pricing analysis for both domestic and cross-border initiatives. 
  • Partner with regional business development leads to model out deals, pricing and offers in order to capture incremental transactions and revenue. This includes supporting scoping opportunities, conducting relevant deal analysis, and building business cases
  • Acquire and structure data to drive insights from market research, analysis and collaboration with business lines across Regional and Functional areas.
  • Contribute to both qualitative and quantitative market research to validate trends and competitive opportunities for specific new market offerings.
  • Turn insights to action:
    • Work with global and regional product leads to execute research efforts and help shape individual market/client relevant strategies
    • Identify and maintain a pulse on ATM industry benchmarks and best practices

The aforementioned areas of focus will require this individual to work closely with global teams representing Cross Border teams, Product, Marketing, Sales, Strategy & Pricing.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENT : This position may require the incumbent to travel for work 0-5% of the time, though none is expected.

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

5 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • A proven track record of delivering pricing models
  • Management consulting experience from top tier firms McKinsey, BCG, Bain or at the corporate strategy practices of Accenture, AT Kearney, LEK, Deloitte Consulting, PwC, KPMG, EY, Booz Allen, or Oliver Wyman preferred
  • Superior analytical and problem solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor
  • Proactive and effective communicator. Experienced at structuring data/information into presentations that help facilitate group discussions and solution refinement
  •  Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Should be able to prioritize work with limited supervision
  • Personal presence, ability to clearly communicate compelling messages in written and verbal communications
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments
  • 4+ years relevant work experience, ideally a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics or Finance

Physical Requirements

  • This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, reach with hands and arms, and bend or lift up to 25 pounds
