Job Description

This position resides on the Business Operations Management team within the Digital & Developer Platform organization – the engineering team behind Visa’s most future-oriented mobile-based products. The intern will primarily support the summer planning and execution for DDP’s summer intern program worldwide, which requires demonstrated project management skills, detail-orientation, strong written and presentation development ability, ease in multi-tasking and working under deadlines. Role will focus on content development, event planning/execution and project management. A big plus is having a high comfort level in working with undergraduate peers, curating engaging activities and results-orientation.
 

This is an opportunity to apply your creativity, express ideas, and make a positive difference in the intern experience on a technology-focused team. Along the way, there will be ad-hoc projects in support of broader employee experience – which could include anything from onboarding to off-boarding support – that will leverage the communications and planning skills. Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Students pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree with a graduation date in fall 2020 or later

  • Strong communications skills, specifically, the absence of repeated grammatical or typographical errors, clear and concise written and spoken communications, and communications that demonstrate professional judgment.

  • Highly driven, resourceful and results oriented

  • Passion for and accomplished in writing, event planning and project management

Work Hours This position requires the incumbent to be available during core business hours.

Travel Requirements This position requires the incumbent to travel for work 0% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, and reach with hands and arms.
