VISA has more than 14,000 clients around the world. Among those, we have key GLOBAL clients that have presence in several markets across the different regions.  We are looking for an experienced Account Executive to be part of the team managing one of VISA’s key global accounts.

This role will be responsible for managing the relationship with both, the client´s global team and internal VISA account executives in each market where the client is present. The role will also be responsible for identifying opportunities within the existing client portfolio and significantly grow our share of business where we have a small share. We are looking for people that have natural drive and tenacity to succeed and make a difference every day. Job Description

What we expect of you, day to day.

  • Build and develop a strong relationships with our Global Client ensuring they are provided appropriate support and excellent service from Visa.
  • Constantly learn VISA´s products and services to identify those that would bring an opportunity to the client and VISA.
  • Contribute into the building a strong global account plan engaging the other Account Managers in the regions.
  • Develop collaborative relationships with multiple global teams and partners, and work with them to identify new opportunities that help grow their business.
  • Establish strong internal partnerships – partner with functions across Visa (e.g., sub-regional leadership, marketing, product development, etc.) to ensure the right parts of the business are appropriately involved and informed about client needs fostering a collaboratively environment breaking down siles and working together as “One Visa”
  • Full understanding of the Clients P&L and Visa Key drivers and KPIs.
  • Be very comfortable in managing KPIs and developing financial business models. Expected to be proactive in gathering information & data from different sources (e.g. market research, public information, client reports and internal tools
  • Passionate and proactive character, hungry in growing existing accounts and provide a perspective on identifying and developing relevant new opportunities through comprehensive analysis from client data.
  • Influence and partner management teams in a knowledgeable and impactful way; seeking insights into opportunities or risks to their business to help Visa find the right solutions.
  • Develop your knowledge of the payment technology space, and specifically of Visa products and services. Stay at the front of a dynamic industry and use your knowledge to help our clients adapt and stay ahead too.
  • Everyone is a leader at Visa. As such you will lead, impact and support others by sharing your expertise and help with the wider team acting as a coach and mentor where appropriate.

Qualifications

  • Self-driven and proactive mind-set that can lead and drive teams to seize opportunities for VISA and the Client.
  • Previous experience leading and managing projects
  • Proven track record in managing clients/accounts, developing relationships and sales partnerships, and managing high performing, fast paced teams
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work collaboratively across functions and geographies in a complex matrix environment
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to establish effective relationships and communicate with all levels of the organization including executive management.
  • Proven ability to negotiate business agreements and to enhance existing and develop new business partnerships.
  • Data management and analytics skills.
  • Passion for sales and curiosity for financial services; in particular payments and technology.
  • Commercial understanding and the aptitude to identify opportunities and proactively propose solutions.
  • High standards of ethics and integrity towards employees, stakeholders and customers.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and verbal
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
  • Willingness to travel periodically as required
  • Strong understanding of global payment system and acquiring system a plus

Additional Information

International and regional travel might be required (10%)
