- Co-ordinate a portfolio of strategic projects related to Continental European performance growth initiatives
- Track the quality and execution of the strategic initiatives liaising across functions and regions for financial and qualitative results
- Analyse financial data on the client deals, and various market data sets to derive insights
- Collaborate across functions. Balance execution, influence, and content contributions to help business advance their respective strategies
- Proactively structure and lead on complex issues to quickly arrive at recommendations that drive business priorities and deliver financial results
- Develop frameworks that support the prioritisation of strategic initiatives, and evaluate investment opportunities for their strategic and financial value
- Maintain excellent commercial and business landscape knowledge, to provide solid foundational context for critical strategic projects
- Comfortable working within a complex and often ambiguous environment, with changing priorities and high pace
- Lead compelling thought leadership on topics such as technology innovation, strategic transformation, and merchant partnerships.
- Drive consistency, forecast accuracy and predictability against targets through improved sales process, system enhancements and total transparency with executive management.
Qualifications

- Outstanding Excel modeling and Power Point skills
- Experience from a top tier consultancy
- Strong financial background – both qualifications (e.g., CFA) and practical experience
- Global work experience and understanding of the payments ecosystem
- Previous experience in a payment scheme or other payments ecosystem company
- Understanding of the technological and infrastructure aspects of payments and tech giants
- Strategy, planning and business case development
- Commercial acumen and sound business judgement
- MBA Equivalent, proven professional experience
- Articulate, concise, clear written and verbal communication
- Handling complexity and ambiguity
- Able to build strong stakeholder relationships and collaborate in a complex, matrix organisation
- Experience with a range of markets and/or functions preferred within a complex matrix organisation; proven experience different European and international environments is preferred
