Job Description

As Visa continues to drive growth, the company is seeking an emerging leader to unlock further potential and a massive opportunity for the company. This new role is focused on streamlining financial analytics in an environment where innovation is coming to the market quickly and Visa is enabling new payment flows that are increasing the complexity of the business. A hybrid between finance, analytics, program management, and platform design, this person will touch and see every part of the business and be a catalyst for building a foundation for business insights across the company.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide unique insight into Visa’s business drivers and the resulting impacts on the P&L.
  • Lead a global working team of SMEs across all areas of finance to determine analytical requirements across the finance organization, and then design and implement the solution.
  • Lead enhancement of revenue analytics platform to increase data coverage, address unique business cases, and incorporate expense and headcount to produce client, product, and market P&Ls.
  • Lead development of a revenue planning platform to standardize and improve the annual budgeting process to provide insights into performance variance and assumptions.
  • Oversee the implementation and testing of these solutions to ensure accuracy while delivering new ad hoc insights and designing standard reporting.
  • Automate executive dashboards to standardize the tracking of business performance leveraging Visa’s digital assets to track financial and non-financial metrics.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to solve problems, manage complex projects, and resolve differences. Be extremely proactive to identify and recommend actions that will improve Visa’s financial insights.
  • Partner with regional CFOs to ensure alignment on root cause analysis for both financial performance and business drivers.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 12 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree; 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA/JD/MD); or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD.
  • The candidate will have a strong work ethic, be a self-starter, and be able to be highly productive in a dynamic, collaborative environment. This position offers broad exposure to all aspects of the company’s business, as well as significant interaction with all the business leaders.
  • Experience with a mix of experiences in strategy, finance, and systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Extraordinary analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor.
  • Global or multi-national business experience strongly preferred. A deep understanding of the payment’s ecosystem would be a strong plus.
  • Outstanding communicator who can create compelling messages to senior executives and external business partners.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to influence and build credibility as a "peer" with Global Functions and Regions.
  • Team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible, with excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities.
  • Solicit and accept feedback, criticism, and alternative points of view.
  • Proactively learn the business and become involved – dive in and help.

Additional Information

Work Hours:

  • Flexible work schedule, able to work and take calls days, evenings, weekends and holidays, as necessary

Travel Requirements:

  • This position requires the incumbent to travel for work 10% of the time; capability to travel internationally

Mental/Physical Requirements:

  • This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, reach with hands and arms, and bend or lift up to 25 pounds
