Job Description

Key role in the Merchant and Acquirer Sales and Solutions' LAC team (MS&A-LAC), partnering closely with the Head of MS&A of LAC and Leadership Team. This role is responsible for providing strategic business analysis and input to the development and execution of the business strategy across the region, which addresses:
1. Developing a robust coverage and acceptance of electronic payments in key LAC markets
2. Growing Visa share of business on Key Merchants
This position is also charged with streamlining and tracking execution, increasing efficiency, ensuring alignment to global and regional strategy and objectives, supporting macro-level initiatives, scorecards, NPS approach, customer needs assessments, and other business planning activities (e.g. BPO) and specific strategic initiatives, in partnership with regional and global teams as needed.
This individual will be a key participant of the MS&A-LAC Leadership Teams and is the main contact point with the Global MS&A and the LAC regional teams.
Responsibilities/Key Results
 Preparation, implementation and monitoring of Business Strategy and Annual Plans. Lead the MS&A LAC planning cycle (strategy, budget, goal setting and performance tracking), aligned with the GMS&A and regional processes
 Development and use of reporting tools to manage and monitor MS&A LAC performance (aggregated and by market) on a regular basis (weekly, monthly or quarterly). These include (but are not limited to) Salesforce Playbook, Monthly Reports, Performance Assessments, Balanced Scorecards and Dashboards
 Provide analytical capabilities to support business strategy
 Lead efforts of New Business Development for MS&A LAC
 Identification of best practices and synergies across the region
 Highlight main competitors´ moves, key technology trends, challenges & gaps for merchant payment adoption in the region
 Propose strategic themes and issues to be discussed by the Leadership team, providing insights and market analysis based on internal and external information to enable discussion and decision-making

Qualifications

 Excellent interpersonal skills to work collaboratively across functions and geographies in a complex matrix environment
 Strategic and analytical thinking with an ability to see the broader picture
 Consulting and Finance experiences are a plus
 Solid project management abilities
 Strong presentation and communication skills
 Creative, innovative problem solving
 Strong leadership skills, with demonstrated ability to influence and built credibility with people outside his/her direct organization
 Experience of working in the regional roles and LAC knowledge
 Advanced knowledge of the electronic payments business (preferably cards, preferably Visa) policies, financial controls / accounting processes
 Seasoned professional, with a sound track record of results and with the ability to work and influence multiple stakeholders, both internal and external to Visa
 15+ years' progressive experience managing staff
 Fluent in Portuguese, English and Spanish.
