Job Description

The Commercialization Program Manager will be responsible for defining and executing the Product Delivery and Commercialization Framework for Cardinal’s products and solutions. The goal of this individual’s efforts will be to manage complex, multi-disciplinary programs and projects through the entire lifecycle. This individual will identify and define commercialization opportunities, work cross-functionally with other departments and teams to keep commercialization efforts on track, and ensure intelligent, well-coordinated, and seamless rollout of product and feature packages. This person should have a mix of technical and business acumen, with an aptitude for telling a simplified story around complex solutions. This role is cross-functional, working with sales, product management, product development, design, corporate communications and marketing.The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can identify key stakeholders, search out and coordinate the right parties, while leveraging those entities’ skill sets to develop commercialization artifacts, go-to-market strategies, and messaging ahead or on timeline for go-live dates.

What You’ll Do:

  • Identify, define, and lead commercial opportunities for Cardinal products
  • Lead the strategic development of product positioning and value propositions through the full product life cycle
  • Run cross-functional meetings to clarify, define, track, and champion commercialization efforts
  • At times, lead a cross-functional team consisting of individual contributors and managers who are conceptualizing, rationalizing, and driving multiple simultaneous projects
  • Ensure all aspects of a commercialization package have been intentionally accounted for, while reporting on status, progress, milestones, deliverable, outcomes, and lessons learned to all applicable parties
  • Develop and communicate key product messages and engage effectively with many diverse functional stakeholders
  • Develop clear and concise messaging that synthesizes complex ideas
  • Create and execute innovative, data-driven go-to-market strategies informed by market input that drives engagement, awareness and product adoption while ensuring a coordinated end-to-end approach across channels

Qualifications

What We Need You to Have:

 

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Project Management, Marketing, Product Development, or related field
  • In lieu of a degree, four or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
  • 4+ years of experience working in positioning, branding, product marketing or product development
  • Intermediate level experience in commercialization and management of large projects or programs, preferably technical and product related

Physical Requirements:
This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, and reach with hands and arms.
