Job Description

Provide thought leadership, strategic direction and execution ‘governance’ to Core Consumer Products & Client Solutions team, assume full accountability for the design, development, deployment & performance of consumer payment solutions & CVP in market.

Work closely with Business Development organization to lead successful efforts by Visa in winning new business and delivering objectives across the Core Consumer Products portfolio to financial institutions. Provide strategic management of the core business relationship between Visa and Clients to drive sales and support of Visa products & solutions. Interact with banks and business development teams, provide leadership to the team of Product experts, capable of creating new propositions, selling and advising existing and potential Issuers of Visa products. 

Provide leadership in portfolio management & optimization practices as well as delivery of core value propositions to maintain & grow business with Clients as measured by financial, share & (client/partner) satisfaction outcomes.

Lead a team of solutions experts through effective management and development practices that are in accordance with Visa’s Leadership Principles, reflecting clear prioritization, strong stakeholder alignment and using key principles of collaborative, agile workforce management.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop, deliver and activate strategies and solutions plans in Core Consumer Products that drive Visa’s competitive advantage in Russia
  • Design & deliver compelling, differentiated and relevant solutions that leverage Visa assets, client assets, partnerships and partner assets to positively influence revenue growth in Russia.
  • Identify, prioritize and develop product, platform, market and/or service innovations to protect and grow existing revenue streams and to grow new revenues for assigned products. 
  • Understand economic implications of Visa business strategy and manage budget, investment and solutions profitability to meet business objectives.
  • Manage planning, forecasting and financial reporting
  • Lead initiatives with key stakeholders & x-functional teams to deliver outcomes that are quantifiable and aligned with the corporate and customer’s/partner’s strategic objectives
  • Drive sales related to core consumer products; train, educate and provide guidance to Visa country staff on program selection 
  • Work with issuers in the ongoing evaluation, management, synthesis and development of product line strategies, including new product platform launches 
  • Provide direction, thought leadership, best practice materials and turnkey tools to Clients and the sales team to maximize Visa’s card portfolio growth 
  • Provide insights and recommendations on portfolio management, including acquisition, activation, usage and retention, to help issuers identify new segment opportunities and develop product value proposition strategies 
  • Drive performance management, career development, recruitment, succession planning and talent assessment for the team
  • Lead a team of innovative and engaged individuals focused on delivering best in class solutions to address preference and anticipated needs of local customers as well as all stakeholders across the geography.

Qualifications

Professional

  • >10 years hands-on experience in card business with personal involvement in product proposition elaboration, sales channels management, legal issues, IT developments, risk procedures, marketing and
