Job Description

What's it all about?

The main focus of the role is to drive Visa’s issuer-related market share and Value Added Services’ penetration in Czech Republic and Slovakia, through structured, client-centric approach to cross-sell and up-sell as well as card portfolio attacks and RfP responses.

What we expect of you, day to day?

  • Work with your regional team, as well as with Czech and Slovak Country Manager and Account Executives, to develop and execute sales strategies and tactics focused on securing Visa’s long-term presence and revenue with key issuers
  • Work with our clients, preferably using your established network, to identify new and ongoing requirements and opportunities, and actively and commercially stimulates them to innovate by introduction of new products, services and solutions
  • Monitor and analyse clients’ performance, suggesting ways to develop the existing business and offer Value Added Services
  • Excel knowledge of our Value Added Services and leverage subject matter experts in on-going client discussions
  • Adapt flexibly to emerging, new opportunities and needs from our clients, becoming a champion to accelerate the organization towards an adequate response
  • Support cross-functional initiatives in a project-oriented way
  • Utilize a consultative sales approach ensuring that a client’s business objectives are met and their performance metrics are optimized
  • Constantly review our and clients’ strategies to drive our joint business

Qualifications

For this role the key skills required are...

  • Extensive experience in business development, sales, relationship management and/or consulting roles
  • Demonstrate a structured sales approach and/or a proven track-record in responding to client Requests for Proposal
  • Proven experience and knowledge of financial services and banking industry
  • Demonstrable knowledge of local and global payments industry landscape, trends and opportunities
  • Proven depth of experience in driving client growth and winning new business, including selling ideas and solutions to senior management based on insight and needs
  • Well established relationship management skills with a deep sales orientation
  • Executive presence and ability to effectively engage with a wide range of stakeholders internally and externally
  • Ability to develop, lead, close and grow competitive sales efforts
