Visa B2B Connect leverages Visa’s reputation and expertise to deliver an innovative multilateral network for B2B cross-border payments - offering financial institutions an alternative cross-border solution that can address many of the inefficiencies associated with the current correspondent banking processes.  Using a one-to-many connection, Visa B2B Connect reduces the number of correspondent transfers required to process a payment between participants. This allows for more cost-effective, transparent and predictable cross-border transactions, delivered in full value, with rich data enhancing payment reconciliation.

 What a Manager of B2B Connect, Visa Business Solutions Asia Pacific does at Visa:

Visa is looking for a dedicated product manager to join our regional Business Solutions team in Singapore, to be responsible for driving the execution of the Asia Pacific strategy for B2B Connect.  A natural collaborator; you will develop a network of key cross functional stakeholders across the region including Business Solutions product, sales, client support, government relations, compliance, legal, finance, marketing team members and work directly with clients and implementation partners to expand the network.

 

This role would suit someone who is excited by the opportunity to deploy innovative payment solutions that deliver meaningful change to how businesses can pursue their international growth potential.  

This role requires candidate to:

  • Develop and own product expertise to proactively advocate as a subject matter expert to clients, partners and internal stakeholders which will require a deep understanding of product functionality, and roadmap, regulatory and compliance issues, and the technology and operational environment of target customers, including the major operational risk issues.
  • Deliver on the B2B Connect Product Strategy for AP along with the Head of B2B Connect
  • Contribute to developing market specific business plans through the provision of appropriate market intelligence
  • Take responsibility for the implementation of these plans through reporting, tracking and supporting joint objectives with each in-country team and continuously updating the plan based on business needs
  • Coordinate regional marketing plans including the localization of global initiatives
  • Collect and organise market intelligence and client specific feedback from financial institutions and businesses to inform strategic global roadmap prioritization
  • Draft regulatory engagement submissions using product knowledge
  • Drive client decision making through production of tailored presentations and client analysis 
  • Execute the implementation of product enhancements supported by Global Product
  • Ensure compliance with products, brand and risk management standards

Qualifications

What you will need:

  • 8-10 years’ experience involving product management, transaction banking and/or launching new products
  • Experience at top-tier financial institutions, consulting firm, payments network or financial services firm where you have developed strategies, worked on execution plans
  • Product knowledge of Payment Operations/Transaction Banking and an understanding of the correspondent banking market, the different models for cross border transaction processing, and the role of SWIFT and challengers
  • A Proven record of accomplishment of success with evidence of supporting high performance teams to deliver transformational change ideally through banks and other payment organisations
  • Excellent written communication skills to draft responses to various audiences including internal stakeholders, regulators and clients.
  • Strong verbal communication and presentation skills that can effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels to drive outcomes and effectively advocate for B2B Connect
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment with multiple stakeholders and create project teams with cross functional partners
  • The ability to translate analytics, research, and client/consumer needs into market insights, actionable plans and deliverables.
  • Keen attention to detail and organized and committed to execution and continuous product enhancement
  • A proactive and collaborative problem-solver who can work independently with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders including senior executive.

  • Proven track record of supporting product development in a regional context.  
  • Experience in client engagement in a sales or product management role
