Job Description

The Core Value Proposition (CVP) and Loyalty Digital solution team is part of the Visa Product in China. This team’s primary focus is to design and develop Visa’s loyalty, features and benefits capabilities into digital platforms and end-to-end consumer mobile experiences that will drive client preference for Visa as a strategic partner and enabler of superior value propositions for the digitally-enabled consumer.  


As a key member of this team, you will drive loyalty and digital initiatives across various customer segments with a focus on Affluent and Millennial customers. You will be responsible for discover, design, development and deployment and go-to-market plans of loyalty and digital solutions with FI and non-FI partners.  In this role, you will need to proactively collaborate between the Visa Global team in US, Asia Pacific Product & Loyalty teams, and local business development management teams in China to develop solutions that will enable our partners to drive greater card usage, retention and preference.  

Working closely with the AP and Global teams, as well as external partners, you will also be co-developing the right product and value propositions for targeted customer segments and leveraging on Visa’s APIs to allow clients to quickly plug into Visa’s assets and partnerships, to drive greater customer engagement & loyalty.  

We are looking for a self-starter who has in-depth loyalty, digital and data product expertise with a track record in develop and manage partnerships with external parties.  You should have experience working in a matrixed structure and adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver best in class solutions for our clients.  

Responsibilities

- Manage, deliver and evolve loyalty platforms and capabilities and digital solutions deployment that enable Visa China to be the issuers’ and Non-FI’s preferred partner 

- Manage and maintain overall China loyalty solution architecture/roadmap/pipeline, leverage Visa capabilities to deliver GTM solution to clients and partners

- Manage and own overall China loyalty solution related operation processes

- Manage vendor and merchant partner communication on day-to-day basis

- Act as the primary point of contact among CS, AP Hub team and global loyalty/technology team for periodical update and collaboration

- Work with business partners to understand and elaborate loyalty and digital requirements and drive development, implementation and operations

- Consult and drive Usage and Expansion of Loyalty and Digital Solutions as Subject Matter Expert

- Drive innovative solutions for customer engagement & loyalty leveraging human centered design and technology innovations

- Use data driven insights to support growth of Visa product portfolio in China with a focus on driving online and international usage and digital channels

- Collect feedbacks from partners and clients, lead continuous solution enhancement 

- Prepare, deliver and present client-ready materials to support sales teams and deployment activities

Qualifications

- 8 years + experience in digital product development OR

- 8 years+ experience in customer life cycle management (any industry) / retail banking / consumer cards / Card Associationbusinesses

- Business or engineering degree 

- Good understanding of eCommerce, Processing, Data and loyalty platforms and digital solutions

- Strong knowledge of emerging technology, analytics and data

- Sound knowledge of financial services, payments industry, card systems, and processing

- Expert in product development lifecycle

- Financial and P&L management experience

- Strong and proven Project and Program management skills

- Excellent team and stakeholder management 

- A proven track-record in negotiations and partnerships, coupled with business development skills  

- Entrepreneurial with ability to take initiative at work

- Familiar with human centered design principles

- Self-driven, team player

- Excellent bi-lingual (English and Chinese) written, verbal and presentation skills
