Job Description

Visa’s University Relations and Programs Strategy team is currently looking for a University Relations Liaison.   In this role

  • You will design, implement and execute robust, innovative, university relation strategies to attract top university talent through career fairs, information sessions, student organization meetings, etc. Come up with unique ideas catering to different target schools.
  • You will build and maintain long-term relationships at target universities with key faculty, professors, administration, and student organizations.
  • You will manage Campus teams and provide inputs to the various stakeholders involved
  • You will brand and promote Visa on campus as an employer of choice.
  • You will interface and partner with university recruiters to ensure we are meeting our corporate university recruiting goals.
  • You will participate in the planning and hosting of intern program activities.
  • You will participate in related programs and process improvement projects as needed.
  • You will participate in University Relations and Program Strategy initiatives and partner with team members to deliver best in class services. 
  • You will prioritize multiple projects,  tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast paced, changing work environment.

  

Qualifications

Basic

  • Minimum of 6 months of work experience or a Bachelor's Degree

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of work experience in university recruiting, corporate recruiting, a related HR function or university setting
  • You have a strong consultative, influential, and collaborative skill set
  • You are results-oriented
  • You have excellent time management and organizational skillset
  • You have a track record as a strong team player with excellent verbal, written communication/presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Relentless drive to find and hire top university talent
  • Proven ability to work with a team of cross-functional stakeholders
  • Approximately 70% travel is expected during peak season

Physical Requirements

 
This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment (phones and computers), reach with hands and arms, and bend or lift up to 25 pounds

Travel Requirements:

The incumbent may be required to travel up to 70% in the peak season for University recruitment.
