Job Description
Visa's Global Technology Talent Acquisition team is focused on delivering best-in-class recruiting service to our Technology teams who are revolutionizing global payment technology. The Technology organization at Visa is undergoing a significant transformation in the way that we build, manage, support, and productize technology. They are solving massive, complex technical problems. University recruiting is a key, strategic element of our overall recruiting strategy. The University Recruiter will be responsible for implementing strategies to identify, attract and hire quality, diverse university students to increase the quality of our long term hiring pipeline.
In this role you will:
- Define and manage the full cycle recruiting strategy and process including, but not limited to sourcing, screening, interview process management, maintaining candidate relationships, creating and extending offers, and closing candidates
- Partner with University Relations Managers to ensure seamless transition of candidates with a focus on high quality candidate experiences
- Partner with hiring managers to understand their teams’ hiring needs and team dynamics and hire top students, including intake sessions, hiring debrief calls, managing onsite interview days, etc.
- Manage the candidate new hire experience: onboarding, hiring manager satisfaction, assessments and other UR /recruiting metrics
- Collect all internship and full time opportunities from hiring managers and work with the HR Business Partners and/or Workforce planning leads to identify accurate open requisitions.
- Prepare initial immigration questionnaires and monitoring continued work authorization status.
- Attend on campus events, if needed
Qualifications
Basic
- 2 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of university recruiting or corporate recruiting experience
- Shows initiative and ability to exercise independent judgment
- You demonstrate a strong consultative, influential, and collaborative skill set
- You are results-oriented
- You have excellent time management and organizational skills
- You are a proven team player with excellent verbal, written communication/presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Relentless drive to find and hire top university talent
- Demonstrated problem solver with strong attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work across diverse teams
Additional Information
Physical Requirements
This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment (phones and computers), reach with hands and arms, and bend or lift up to 25 pounds
Travel Requirements:
The incumbent may be required to travel domestically up to 10%
