Our regional Sales team in Switzerland is growing. We are looking for an Account Executive to join our Swiss team during a period of significant growth and investment in our European business. There has never been a more exciting time to join one of the most recognized brands in the world.

The Account Executive is responsible for a number of accounts in Switzerland and to develop and execute account plans and drive the market agenda to support clients. This includes strategically driving all initiatives from planning, strategic development, delivery and achievement of KPIs.
An important part is to support the AE team in Backoffice work as setup new licenses in close cooperation with the London Europe HQ and other related tasks.
The jobholder will be accountable for managing all aspects of assigned accounts and execution of plans within specific area. The candidate will be responsible for all complexities associated with managing a client of Visa, and influencing people within Visa to deliver the best service to the client.
What we expect day to day:
Develop collaborative relationships with multiple partners and clients, and work with them to identify new opportunities that help grow their business. Especially with regional and cantonal banks.
Be hungry in growing existing accounts and provide a perspective on identifying and developing relevant new opportunities
Engage with cross functional colleagues and lead virtual teams to deliver the right client responses and endeavouring to break down silos and work together as “One Visa”
Develop your knowledge of the payment technology space, and specifically of Visa products and services. Stay at the front of a dynamic industry and use your knowledge to help our clients adapt and stay ahead too.
Managing the delivery of credit, debit and commercial portfolio KPIs
Working with senior members of the accounts to design, launch and drive strategic initiatives
Responsible for contractual negotiations with Accounts
Ensuring the smooth delivery of day-to-day support by Visa in managing the ongoing success of the account’s cards business and support the team in back-office work

Knowledge and experience of the payments business and/or financial services
Experience of client management and business development
Ability to interpret and work with data to create actionable and commercial insight
Ability to work as part of a small cross-functional team, focused on delivering for Visa and the client
Personable with good communication skills, able to build strong long term relationships both internally and externally
Proven influencing, selling and negotiation skills
Ideally be educated to degree or equivalent professional level
Fluent in German, French and English, both written and verbal is essential.
Understanding of Swiss German dialect
Enthusiasm, taking ownership and ability to learn quickly
Willingness to travel (mainly in Switzerland) and ability to develop new networks rapidly
Curiosity – about payments, Visa and our client’s business
Self-motivated and a self-starter mind set
Positive can do attitude and ability to adapt to changing requirements / environment
Excellent MS Office skills, PowerPoint and Excel in particular
