Job Description

Overall responsibility for Cybersource Solutions within the CEMEA region. The person in role will be an active member of CEMEA Cybersource team. The role will have a hard reporting line to Global Head of Regional Solutions and a dotted line to the Cybersource CEMEA business lead. In the short term this will be an individual contributor role.

  • Drive efforts to evolve overall Cybersource solution strategy and product investment prioritisation within the region, to establish business sponsorship and define execution criteria
  • Manage all aspects of demand, prioritisation, tracking, reporting and delivery of NA region funded product under the Global Expansion initiative
  • Drive efforts to evolve the Cybersource local market solution strategy/prioritisation to establish business sponsorship and define execution criteria
  • Champion the adoption and commercialisation of new products into the region supporting the business with client evaluations of beta product
  • Participate in the commercialisation process for new products acting as the regional representative across areas such as pricing, packaging, solution marketing and sales training
  • Develop and maintain regional solutions roadmap informed by the solution prioritisation process and underlying product capability builds and specific project efforts
  • Support client teams with solution requirements and definition for strategic clients, acquirers and enterprise merchants, working with Sales Engineering and Global Services team members as required 
  • Lead creation/design of new market or client focused solutions that generate significant revenue contribution for the region and overall business
  • Conduct regional competitive and regulatory intelligence activities to evaluate competitors’ activities and implications to inform senior executive decision-making
  • Thought leadership: You will continuously challenge the status quo and you will be relentless in your focus to initiate and drive change
  • Author content for closed customer and public forums
  • Maintain close relationships with key merchant and acquirer business contacts and end-users to proactively solicit feedback on features, functionality, services and future requirements
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with the regional Visa product team seeking and developing opportunities for collaboration and go to market partnerships

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree; or
  • 6+ years of experience with an advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD); or
  • 5+ years of work experience with a PhD

Experience

  • Advanced technical, business and operational understanding of banking and payment card systems and processes
  • Good knowledge and experience of marketing principles, product management and merchant acceptance business
  • Experience/knowledge of emerging payment trends and competitive landscape
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, commercial, project management and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to envision and articulate a long-term product strategy designed to improve the Cybersource customer experience and value proposition
  • Ability to inspire and lead high performing cross-functional teams who can envision and create innovative solutions that meet the needs of our clients
  • Disciplined and tolerant of ambiguity, with the maturity and capability to interact and influence across multiple organisational levels internal and external to Cybersource and Visa
  • Intellectual curiosity and interest in digging into the detail, understanding data, making recommendations based on the data and using it to solve problems
  • Strong and demonstrated written, verbal and presentation skills
