Job Description

As a Manager, Product Management for Singapore and Brunei, you will drive the activation and utilisation of Visa credentials and solutions in the market. This will require close partnering with our Merchant Sales and Solutions team, Marketing team and Sales teams.

The role will enable you to acquire deep knowledge of retail banking, unsecured lending, transaction account management, channel management and digital customer experience. You will combine your product management experience with strong awareness of trends in consumer payment preferences and technology usage, with the goal to develop payment experiences and solutions that increase customer engagement with the Visa product, drive usage and preference.

The successful candidate will have demonstrable success at working effectively across matrixed organizations, has the ability to define and articulate the market’s product requirements, develop and champion changes to rules, policies and programs in order to align Visa client needs with those of the successful ongoing growth of the network. The role will engage closely with various local and regional teams (Product Hub, across Consumer, Business, Digital, Data and Risk Solutions), in order to influence the development and roadmap of these solutions for your market.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute against the product strategy for Singapore and Brunei to deliver against product targets
  • Develop and maintain product platform benefits for consumer and business cards  
  • Develop and maintain best practices, market landscape and competitor analysis
  • Continually assess client portfolio performance, taking a data-driven and analytical approach to optimize Visa portfolios and drive adoption of Visa value added solutions
  • Support Tier 3 and Brunei client engagements relating to CVP development, portfolio optimization and competitive pitches, working alongside the Business Development team to identify product opportunities and provide product support from the initial pitch through to implementation.

Qualifications

  • Experience in payments or retail banking
  • High analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to flex and demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor.
  • Strong team orientation, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible, comfortable working in a matrixed organization.
  • Good commercial acumen, with experience in working on business/value cases that prove ROI
  • Demonstrates energy and positive response when tackling challenging problems and views complicated tasks as engaging or motivating.
  • Experience with development of card payments products and knowledge of portfolio management practices across retail banking products
