Visa Technology & Operations LLC, a Visa Inc. company, needs Project Managers in Palo Alto, CA to be responsible for designing and developing software releases; promoting DevOps culture through implementing new tools and technologies and building relationships with Development and Operations and driving agile and waterfall software enhancements with end-to-end release processes, including enhancements to run books and release manifesto, and troubleshooting checklists. Create mechanisms, systems, and dashboards to review DevOps maturity including adoption and metrics related to Source Control, Continuous Integration, Artifact Management, and Change Management. Manage application and infrastructure development and migration projects. Coordinate and communicate release calendar, upgrades, infrastructure changes and platform level bug fixes. Maintain new data fields, consistency across pipelines, impacted data stores and BI layers. Develop and maintain platform and application dependency matrix for impact analysis. Conduct case studies to discover opportunities for process, technology, product and organizational improvements. Champion and proactively inspire the adoption of key engineering excellence practices including reflection, learning, code review, continuous integration and automation. Implement standard checklists, templates and systems to improve coordination across all Visa projects. Pilot new technologies and share learnings with peers and managers, socialize change and negotiate improvements on a larger scale. Perform application and platform incident and problem management using ServiceNow including root-cause analysis and communication around production incidents that occur on the data platform.

QUALIFICATIONS: Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, followed by 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in job offered or in a computer-related occupation.

SALARY: $179,500 - $199,500 per year
