Job Description

Visa’s Global Sales Enablement and Analytics Team is responsible for shaping the vision and executing strategy for building transformational sales capabilities, including tools, materials and insights accelerating Visa’s products and solutions for merchants and acquirers.  Our team will also partner closely with our account executive teams to better understand their needs and develop enablement programs that will help them be more effective positioning Visa’s value to clients and partners.

As a Program Manager,  you will be part of a high-impact team that spans sales, product and operations organizations to drive meaningful change in the way Global Merchant Sales & Acquiring organization approaches engagement with our clients to address their needs and drive product commercialization across the regions.

This global role requires frequent interaction with cross-functional leaders and subject matter experts including: Sales, Product Management, Solution Management, and other teams across Visa.

Essential Functions:

Highlights

  • Gain insights into the needs of merchant and acquiring clients around the world by analyzing inputs from regional sales teams
  • Define and develop vertical specific propositions to effectively serve the needs of merchant and acquiring clients,
  • Manage and drive prioritization by developing business cases and programs that can enable our sales teams to deepen client partnerships and diversify streams of revenue
  • Engage and build internal relationships with Visa teams to deliver vertical & use case specific sales materials,
  • Support development of best practices to address commercialization needs globally and work with regional teams to capture industry specific nuances
  • Demonstrate innovation and creativity on a day-to-day basis through effective problem solving, recommending new ideas and solutions to drive better sales practices and product commercialization within the organization

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 5 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6 or more years of work experience, or more than 4 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
  • Experience in product marketing or consulting roles that involved project management and business strategy
  • MBA or other relevant Masters degree
  • Experience in payments and/or fintech
  • Self-motivated and highly driven
  • Multi-tasking and prioritization flexibility
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Simplify complexity and data to make it easily digestible
  • Experience telling stories backed by data
  • Great judgement and grace under pressure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for a variety of audiences
  • Project management, planning and organization skills from inception to execution
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office products

Additional Information

Travel Requirements:

·   This position requires the incumbent to travel for work less than 10% of the time.

Physical Requirements:

This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, reach with hands and arms, and bend or lift up to 25 pounds.
