Job Description

Visa’s U.S. Business Operations team works closely with the Head of U.S. and the U.S. Leadership Team to help run the U.S. market. The team manages all U.S.-specific meetings and presentations (e.g., monthly business reviews, leadership meetings, key internal and external presentations) as well as owns the in-market implementation of centrally-managed initiatives such as Scorecards, the sales pipeline, key internal and external events, revenue reporting, Salesforce, and the client engagement survey.

The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong analytical, collaboration, communications, and problem-solving skills. This individual will also have strong project management skills, the ability to drive change in cross-functional settings, and be very detail oriented. Other critical attributes:

  • Ability to manage competing demands that involve rapid turnaround times and time-critical decisions

Essential Functions

  • Deliver on high-priority, strategic, and ad hoc projects with data-backed recommendations in support of the U.S. Leadership Team
  • Develop strong understanding of the priorities of all functional teams (including Sales, Product, Marketing, Finance, HR, Consulting, etc.) and working to share knowledge and drive the U.S. market towards aligned goals and targets
  • Define, manage and embed new BAU processes (e.g., information sharing, reporting dashboards, etc.) in support of the business and to drive efficiency and effectiveness
  • Own the development of presentations and information for key leaders in the U.S.
  • Manage project-related interactions and communications with functional leaders across the U.S. organization

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

·        4 years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD degree

 

Preferred Qualifications:        

·      

·       7-10 years of work experience with a Bachelors degree or 6 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD) in Finance, analytics, or related quantitative field

·       Prior Visa experience in Business Operations role and payments industry experience helpful

·       Outstanding problem-solving skills, able to multi-task and manage competing priorities

·       Highly organized with strong project management skills and very detail-oriented

·       Strong written and verbal communication skills

·       Strong Microsoft product skills Excel (including formulas) and PowerPoint skills

·       Experience with Tableau or similar data visualization tools, and financial systems (e.g., Hyperion, TM1, Oracle, etc.)

·       Intellectually curious about the payments industry

·       Ability to influence others, e.g., cross-functional stakeholders and leaders

·       Composure and clarity required to interact with cross-functional teams, senior management, and executives

·       Work with limited direction, usually within a complex and often ambiguous environment, to drive rigorous, fact-based insights, recommendations, and solutions

·       Passionate about making things better, e.g., improving processes, reducing/removing inefficiencies, etc.

·       Team-oriented, collaborative, and diplomatic

  • This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, reach with hands and arms, and bend or lift up to 25 pounds.
