Job Description

Team Summary

Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) is Visa's consulting division, serving Visa's clients (including card issuers, acquirers and merchants) and solving their strategic problems focused on improving performance and profitability. Drawing on our expertise in strategy consulting, payments, data analytics, marketing, operational and macroeconomics, VCA drives high impact and tangible financial results. In Asia Pacific (AP), VCA has geographically focused teams and the Center of Excellence (COE) team which provides expertise in specific industry or functional verticals (Issuer Optimization, Digital, Risk, Business Solutions and Acquiring).

The Visa Consulting and Analytics team is building a Managed Services team to manage a Key Clients customized Visa Infinite Benefits Platform for the Client’s HNW and UHNW Products.  This role is critical in supporting the expansion of the Benefits Platform Managed Service as well as supporting the current benefit platform.

Job Scope

The position will support the Benefits Platform Managed Service function and all elements (as outlined under job responsibility) of the Customized Benefits Platform. 

 Key Responsibilities include (but not limited to) the below:

Benefit Features

  • Develop, manage and implement self-service capability for concierge and benefits
  • Identify cost saving opportunities (new vendor or T&Cs revision) and implement changes with the vendor in consultation with the vendor.
  • Explore feature / benefit enhancement by the Client

Vendor Management

  • Work with Corp Controller team on vendor contract management on contract renewal, pricing table updates etc.
  • Liaise between the Client and vendor in pricing and contract renewals
  • Prepare monthly/weekly portfolio & vendor performance tracking

Issue Management

  • Ongoing Operational Risk and Issue Resolution management
  • Manage ongoing promo codes, program briefs and system updates
  • Support the Client on training local concierge on benefit bookings

Invoice/Billing Management

  • Manage and check all vendor invoices on timely and accurate basis
  • Ensure that expenses are within budget and forecast
  • Liaise between the Client and vendor before payment is made to vendor
  • Payment management including disbursements to Client individual markets
  • Audit process with the Client involvement
  • Prepare monthly/weekly portfolio & benefit utility tracking report to bill the Client

The Customized Benefits Platform supports a Key Client who is extremely important to Visa.  Given the customized nature of the cardholder benefits, billing and reporting complexity, the prestigious status of the customers and the overall importance of the client, it is critical that this key resource is able to end to end support the platform. 

Qualifications

What you will need:

  • 8 years+ experience in retail banking/ consumer cards businesses
  • Project management
  • Excellent stakeholder management
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to details
  • Entrepreneurial with ability to take initiative at work
  • Self-driven, team player.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, coupled with demonstrated negotiation and business development skills

What will also help:

  • General payments Industry knowledge or experience
  • Ideally worked in project management, product management, vendor management and/or consulting functions
  • Familiar with product development lifecycle
  • Expert user of Microsoft office tools  

Projects you will be a part of:

  • Supporting the Customized Benefits Platform Managed Service, which will have Senior Executive visibility with both Visa and the Key Clients.
  • This role has the privilege of liaising with numerous departments within Visa (Sourcing, Controllership, Product Solutions, Legal, Sales Support, and Engagement Solutions).
