Team Summary

The Visa Benefits Team in Asia Pacific is an integral part of the Total Rewards Function of Human Resources (HR) and works closely with its Visa Compensation Team members, partnering with country HR Business Partners to support the business’ people strategy of attraction and engagement.  At Visa, our people are more than just employees and we recognize that each individual brings their whole self to work. What a Regional Benefits Program Manager does at Visa:

The overarching objective of this role is to manage the suite of employee benefits programs and the vendors that support them to ensure that employees are well supported whenever they need to access these benefits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manages benefits program review/renewals including stakeholder alignment.
  • Oversees benefits enrolment/offboarding processes and address issues that arise.
  • Provides/proposes solutions for employee benefits queries, escalations or benefits access issues.
  • Designs, organises and/or delivers employee communication plans and benefits program intranet site.
  • Oversees benefit vendors’ relationships, deliverables, contract renewals and address service and compliance issues that may arise.
  • Manages third-party benefit Apps onboarding and/or annual compliance review.
  • Manages required internal/external benefits reporting and ensures partner functions (e.g. Payroll, Finance) are aligned to meet required deadlines.
  • Supports/jointly-lead any Total Rewards or Benefits projects.

Qualifications

What you will need: 

  • Minimum University Degree or equivalent
  • 8 years working in HR within which 6 of those recent years are specialising in employee benefits in an MNC environment
  • High level of integrity, respect and empathy for others.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail with a strong sense of risks mitigation
  • Ability to take initiative, solutions orientated and manage multiple work activities/projects to timely completion.
  • Good communication and relationship-building skills, and enjoys collaborating and working with different cultures.

What will also help:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office Excel 
  • Familiarity with Workday and benefits management tools (e.g. from Mercer/Willis Towers Watson/AON) is desirable.
