Job Description

The Account Manager will be an integral part of our Strategic sales team and will focus on the use, adoption, and growth of our eCommerce payments, fraud and payment security solutions.  The Account Manager for Strategic Accounts will be responsible for supporting enterprise sales professionals and their clients in addition to ownership of an individual portfolio of merchants where they will be the primary point of contact and trusted advisor to our clients. This is a direct client facing role. Lehi, UT, Austin, TX or Bellevue, WA location preferred.  

  • Develop and execute account level strategies that support key business metrics including client retention, revenue growth and profitability 
  • Become a trusted advisor with clients by deeply understanding their business and aligning our solutions to their needs 
  • Provide expertise on our global payment processing, fraud management and payment security  
  • Serve as customer advocate  

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD) 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the payments industry 
  • Experience working with systems such as Tableau and Salesforce 
  • Previous experience managing relationships with Fortune 1000 companies 
  • This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, and reach with hands and arms. 
  • This position requires the incumbent to travel for work up to 10% of the time 
  • Demonstrated passion for Customer Success and Relationship Management 
  • Account Management or Sales/Upselling experience 
  • Ability to collaborate and work cross functionally with Sales, Customer Support, Marketing 
  • Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with customers and strong telephone, and written etiquette skills 
  • Strong financial acumen and salesmanship with the ability to think creatively 
  • Strong organization and time management skills 
  • A positive attitude while being hyper-organized and comfortable multi-tasking 
  • Experience based “Issue Resolution” skills that facilitate dialogue across multiple contacts 
  • Ability to deal with customers in a manner that shows sensitivity and tact
