Job Description

What’s it all about?

Visa Direct Payouts (VDP) is a pioneering payment service that Visa has just announced that enables clients (issuers, acquirers, processors, merchants and service providers) to facilitate fund transfers/disbursements to Visa Card accounts and to Bank accounts around the world. Using innovative push payment technology, it combines the established and market-leading Visa Direct Original Credit Transfer (OCT) Push-To Card service with ground-breaking Push to Account capability to offer a unique payment service.  Visa Direct Payouts consumer and business applications include person-to-person (P2P) transfer, person to micro-business transfer (e.g. payments to landscaper), funds disbursement (e.g. insurance claim disbursements), bill payment, cross-border remittance and more.  Currently, the push payments market around the world is estimated to be an $80T opportunity. You will be responsible for pro-actively managing the relationship with a number of our Global Strategic Clients.  Promoting and securing the use of Visa Direct products and services across their business to improve the Visa payments customer experience and deliver growth.

Through your deep Client relationships, and your experience and thought leadership, you will also work with the client to develop future strategic plans to identify and deliver new innovations for customers, ensuring that your client continues to be market leading innovators in the payments market.

The Visa Payments/Visa Direct Senior Account Manager reports to the Visa Direct Head of Bank & Cross Border Specialized Sales, EMEA

What we expect of you, day to day:

  • Achieve or exceed aggressive annual multi-million-dollar sales revenue targets for Visa Payments Ltd and achieve annual sales goals for Visa Direct
  • Manage the relationship with a number of Visa Payments European Strategic accounts, ensuring your stakeholders are provided appropriate support from Visa Direct.
  • Work with your clients to identify new and ongoing requirements, introducing existing Visa Direct products and services which will drive profitability for your P&L
  • Develop annual & strategic plans to identify and deliver new innovative solutions, which will enhance the customer payment experience and support growth for the Visa Direct business.
  • Through your knowledge of Visa Payments Ltd Pay To Account solutions and Visa Direct Pay To Account and Pay To Card solutions, the broader payments market and Financial Services, identity new opportunities to provide your client with Visa solutions to grow their business.
  • Be accountable for prioritising conflicting and competing demand across the business to ensure Visa resources are deployed to maximum effect.
  • Lead contract negotiations where required
  • Support the growth of wider Visa products & services in your clients by working closely with the Visa Account Executives for your clients, as well as the wider Visa community including Visa Direct Product, MS&A, Issuing, B2B Connect, Visa Business Solutions and other service, solution and product Groups and Teams, both at Regional/Cluster level as well as Globally

Qualifications

 What we’re after…

  • Mid-level proven experience of having managed multiple strategic clients to deliver new solutions to grow profitability of a business
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding aggressive multi-million-dollar annual sales revenue targets
  • Considerable knowledge and experience of Pay To Account and Pay To Card and broader payments business, as well as the Financial Services & Online Gaming sectors
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with and influence key stakeholders up to Executive level  
  • Outstanding commercial acumen and understanding of Pay To Account and Pay To Card and the payments market, with experience of driving P&L growth  
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver client strategic plans to drive value both for the Client and Visa
  • Proven influencing, selling and negotiation skills
