Job Description

The Visa Operations & Infrastructure Technical Product Management team is looking for a seasoned Technical Product Manager to lead the strategy design, implementation and configuration of Jira Align as a product at Visa, seamlessly connecting the value being delivered by Visa products to the work being done by our teams. You embody an Agile mindset and are passionate about empowering an Agile culture.

Essential Functions

  • Gather and synthesize requirements and input from multiple stakeholders (internal product teams, engineers, user experience designers, sales, business operations, industry strategy, consulting, customer engagement, customer support, etc.)
  • Collaborate with product teams on the definition and execution of product objectives supporting the creation of an actionable product roadmap, and the delivery of Jira Align thus creating a one-stop shop for Executive/Portfolio/Solution/Program/Delivery teams to plan and track work
  • Communicate prioritization to other stakeholders in the company and drive consensus on the path forward with the rest of the company on the how and why for initiatives and features

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 10-12 years of technology project management experience in an Agile enterprise technology environment work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD:  
    • Strong hands-on JIRA experience required, and preferred JIRA Align experience
      • Agile experience required; CSM (Certified Scrum Master), CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner)
      • Experience in large technology product implementations particularly Project/Portfolio Management tools
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. is a precondition of employment for this position. Visa will not sponsor applicants for work visas in connection with this position. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Customer obsessed and have proven dedication to delivering frequent, high business value features
  • SAFe SP (SAFe Certified Professional) 
  • MBA

Position Location:  

  • Visa will not provide relocation assistance in connection with this position.

  • Incumbent must make themselves available during core business hours. 

Travel Requirements 

  • This position does not require the incumbent to travel. 

Mental/Physical Requirements 

  • This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, reach with hands and arms, and bend or lift up to 25 pounds.
