Position Summary

This position is within the Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) team covering CEMEA Region as  Manager of Knowledge Management, Training and Thought Leadership reporting to the Senior Director of Head of Strategy & Operational Planning

The Knowledge Management, Training and Thought Leadership Manager will be responsible for ensuring that 4 key areas of the CEMEA VCA practice meet best in class expectations. These areas are: 

  • Driving knowledge management
  • Transforming the training program
  • Delivering an exceptional onboarding experience for new joiners
  • External and Internal branding for the practice

 

Job Description

Principal Responsibilities/Key Results Area

Drive VCA knowledge management strategy in CEMEA

  • Represent CEMEA as regional knowledge champion and continuously partner with peers in other regions and global knowledge management team to drive knowledge exchange regionally and globally.
  • Embed new behaviors around IP collection, asset sanitization and upload globally.
  • Work with CEMEA Cluster Leads and practitioners to ensure quarterly uploads of projects is done in a timely manner after project closeout, create case studies of projects that can be showcased.
  • Incorporate human capital in knowledge management platform to track team expertise.
  • Define and deliver against knowledge exchange effectiveness KPI’s.   Track CEMEA specific Knowledge metrics that can be shared at CEMEA all-staff meetings, town halls and with the Leadership team to drive knowledge contributions in the clusters.

Help transform VCA’s training program to support the rapid growth of the business

  • Partner with VU and HR to build and enhance the training offering for VCA CEMEA team.  Leverage and promote VCA Global VU training paths and content. Encourage all new hires to complete the global VU training path.
  • Work with VCA Global to enhance learning path content to cover the full VCA skill stack, including data science.
  • Be CEMEA point of contact for VCA training and Manage training logistics as part of the Global Training Team.
  • Apply an employee-centric view to redesign/scale the onboarding experience for new joiners.
  • Add additional learning path content to cover the full VCA skill stack, including data science. 
  • Support collaboration between global team of regional training champions to enhance and redesign content and learning pathways on VU to meet learner needs.
  • Deliver live training program involving a pan-regional faculty, to complement VU offer. 
  • Define and deliver against training effectiveness KPI’s.
  • Planning & Management of the Training related budget.

Support VCA’s external and internal branding

  • Collaborate with VCA Global Communications to ensure global alignment on thought leadership.
  • Work with Cluster and Service Line Leads to ensure that VCA CEMEA is producing regular relevant and thought-provoking opinion pieces.
  • Coordinate with Corporate Communications, Global VCA Communications and VU teams on the publication of thought leadership content and promotion.
  • Build VCA presence in the market through VCA attending and speaking at leading regional conferences.
  • Partner with VU team to create standardized knowledge offerings / trainings that can be sold to clients.
  • Continuously engage with social networks, including LinkedIn, to promote content.
  • Enhance VCA visibility in Visa Events and platforms (e.g. Visa Payment Forum).
  • Collaborate with Visa Navigate to develop and publish VCA content.
  • Coordinate with visa.com to update and maintain the VCA thought leadership section for CEMEA websites.
  • Run VCA Client Day(s): Aimed at promoting VCA and expanding awareness to key clients.
  • Ensure VCA value proposition is well known internally so that all client-facing teams are aware of what VCA do.
  • Arrange VCA participation as Guest Speakers in Functional Town halls / All Staffs.
  • Distribute Visa TV content and newsletters.
  • Planning & Management of the budget assigned to Thought Leadership and Materials production and refresh.

Qualifications

Key Competencies

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in similar role in large multinational preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong presentation skills including content development and delivery.
  • Experienced user in MS Office.
  • Superior project management skills.
  • Fluent communicator.
  • Results driven, flexible and both internally and externally customer focused.
  • Self-motivated and able to use own initiative with limited direction.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with inter-disciplinary groups.
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Fluency in English mandatory.
  • Role based on UAE/Dubai.
