Job Description

GSS Operations/Systems Project Analyst – This position has the responsibility of project oversite as it relates to development, implementation and revisions of security systems integration with security operations, this includes the Visitor Management system, Access Control System and Badging System. This position assists with audit and compliance issues as it relates to generating reports and gathering data. The position is required to have a thorough understanding of all Visa GSS security policies and is able to identify, analyze and solve problems. This position requires excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and complex situations on an ongoing basis.

Essential Functions:

  • Creating and implementing processes and procedures to support global security policies.

  • Developing training guides and how to documents to support various security applications as needed

  • Providing support to the Security Compliance Liaison to provide data and reports for audit requests

  • Providing first level support for the badge management system

  • Troubleshooting access issues, data push issues, incorrect information

  • Assigning and removing access for global security users

  • Administrative duties setting up access levels, room managers and area designations

  • Configuring reports and assign based on user roles

  • Generating various reports on an as needed basis for audit requests, investigations,  or projects

  • Liaise with development team and main administrator to improve the application workflows and features

  • Documenting the application installation process and training

  • Providing support for badging system equipment installations

  • Providing first level support for the visitor management system

  • Working with vendor to ensure system operability

  • Assigning and removing access for global security users

  • Overseeing new installations of visitor system equipment

  • Troubleshooting visitor system issues and coordinate repairs with vendor

  • Generating daily visitor access reports for management

  • Providing support for visitor system equipment installations

  • Providing support for the access control system

  • Generating access reports on an as needed basis for audit requests, investigations, or projects

  • Providing administrative support to the automated emergency notification system

  • Creating and updating emergency notifications and notification recipients

  • Troubleshooting emergency notification issues

  •  Provide support for the security incident reporting system

  • Troubleshooting access and report issues as needed

  • Assigning and removing access for global security users

  • Providing general support for all global security functions as needed


Basic Qualifications:

  • 2 years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree
  • Proven ability to work independently
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products, SharePoint and Microsoft Teams

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years work experience with a Bachelors Degree
  • Certification in Project Management
  • Working knowledge of the following systems; 
  • Splan (Visitor Management System) and access control systems to include
    Genetec and C-Cure 
  • Quantum/HID (Badging System) 
  • Excellent organizational, communication, interpersonal and analytical skills 
  • Ability to interact effectively with senior leadership 
  • Systems certification in Genetec or C-Cure

Additional Information

Work Hours:

  • This position requires the incumbent to be available during core business hours. 

Travel Requirements:

  • This position requires approximately 10% travel from their work location.

Mental/Physical Requirements:

  • This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, and reach with hands and arms.
