Job Description

Visa.com team  is currently seeking Senior UI Engineer with strong UI/UX technical skills and experience in building high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications for Digital Marketing Experience Team. You will be responsible for Front End for highly scalable AEM  application development while providing expertise in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing.

The role includes working with business owners to understand requirements, defining and implementing technical solutions, application implementation and support, integration and management of Web sites.

Responsibilities:
 

  • Build engaging, usable, and accessible UI applications/components/code libraries for web.
  • Build Single Page Applications that consume REST services
  • Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.
  • Write well designed, testable, efficient code.
  • Design and code, and integrate application business layer as required.
  • Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications.
  • Prepare and produce releases of software components.
  • Create or update Design and UI documentation.
  • Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.

Qualifications

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
  • 5+ years of hands-on Software Development experience
  • 3-5+ years of experience in Front End development for highly scalable Web Portals / Web Applications.
  • Preference for candidates with CMS and / Or with Adobe AEM/CQ development
  • Experience in a devops organization with Scrum methodology
  • Hands on experience in designing and developing applications Front End Technologies HTML, CSS, HTML5,  JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX
  • Object oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
  • Use JavaScript UI frameworks like  NodeJS, Angular, React & D3
  • Experience in the Spring Framework and SOA /REST applications.
  • Experience in developing web applications using popular web frameworks (JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC)

·        Experience with Web Standards and Accessibility Best Practices

·        Experience integrating with web services in a failure tolerant system design
