Job Description

The Visa Cybersource European Indirect team are charged with forging and maintaining strategic partnerships with payment processors and acquirers that use Visa Cybersource digital solutions. Our team manages commercial relationships executed with FI’s/Acquirers/Processors to enable our valuable Clients to utilize an array of Visa Cybersource products and services. 

Our team is responsible for innovating the way we partner with our clients, the successful candidate being an exceptional individual who is able to bring a hybrid skills set of Account Management and Business Development acumen to drive our strategy of client merchant acquisition, volume pipeline and revenue upsell.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with client senior executives to influence strategies for merchant acquisition, payment volume growth and adoption of value added services that drives the client’s & Visa Cybersource’s strategy.
  • Organize and implement strategic account planning processes; Identify opportunities and challenges faced by the client, recognize those initiatives that will solve our mutual business objectives, identify and deploy Visa & Cybersource solutions and resources to support the deepening of the relationship
  • Consult on and implement innovative sales enablement strategies with client group
  • Pro-actively engage with client to assess their pipeline to be able to support an accurate forecasting of revenue to Visa Cybersource. 
  • Use strong commercial acumen that provides client insight/performance/risks and drives new opportunity results. 
  • Identify new opportunities to upsell Visa Cybersource Solutions and Services. 
  • Devise and manage a client-by-client strategy that grows revenue through measurable KPI’s and activity. 
  • Have a strong desire to understand the client business model and the role they play in the payments chain.
  • Prepare and present sales and pricing proposals and as required, negotiate contractual agreements to expand the scope of Visa Cybersource products and services
  •  In the role as a Manager, take a pro-active approach to contribute in multi-faceted projects including strategy development and critically implementation of payments Strategy both for the Client and Visa Cybersource.
  • Use Visa’s IDDEA methodology to identify new growth opportunities with partners

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will bring:

  • A track record of success within commercial account management or business development within the payments industry
  • A depth of knowledge and experience on the payment and/or fraud landscape

 

  • Ability to help coordinate with peers from other functional areas (e.g., marketing, analytics, risk, innovation) and across global regional teams to execute projects in ways that leverage the breadth and depth of Visa Cybersource’s resources.
  • Ability to present and engage with senior stakeholders both Internally and Client facing
  • Demonstrated ability to consult and work closely with a client’s key executives to present Visa Cybersource’s strategic vision and negotiate effectively on behalf of the company
  • Ability to work independently within a complex and competitive environment, to drive rigorous, fact-based recommendations to stakeholders and to juggle multiple initiatives at once
  • Demonstrated track record of planning, managing and closing a competitive sale cycle.
  • Ability to quickly assess an opportunity’s potential, leveraging fact-based analysis and industry experience and being able to demonstrate a drive to closing the sale
  •  Displays a strong commitment to Team success derived from qualities such as being a team player, having a hunger to win, a drive to excel and deliver on goals
  • Good interpersonal skills and the proven ability to influence and communicate effectively across regional and functional lines
