Key Accountabilities:

• Budget submission by establishing robust processes and execution
• Providing reporting, analysis on all matters relating to revenues, expenses and project finances
• Ensuring business case is maintained and kept up to date
• Tracking/reporting on performance against original business case

Specific areas of responsibility

• ·         Cluster month end closing- accruals, check of accounts, posting JE where necessary. Preparation of monthly reporting packs; provide deep dive analysis for variances in key items

  ·         Support in detailed work and analysis within the Budget and Forecast cycles

  ·         Responsible from activity based budgets (marketing, sales etc); ensuring the PO allocation against the budgets are correct; monitor the spend vs budgeted amounts; ensure spend and commitments are accounted for accurately, completely and timely. Responsible from status reports as and when required by HQ

  ·         Similarly responsible from the market development fund budget tracker; including execution the collections from Clients.

  ·         Identify and complete the requests that need to be submitted to Billing; follow up and track any reconciliation needs liaising with the country RMs

  ·         Review of all cashbooks in the cluster- accounts well placed, booking in policy,

  ·         Merchant Payments; execute the payment orders and track the payments; support the RMs in any reconciliation requests

  ·         Provide Client based data (Fees paid; processing and/or acquiring volume) to the business

  ·         Tax in Cluster: work with the Central Tax team to ensure that all tax duties and liabilities are covered liaising with EY.

  ·         Support internal and external audits.

   

·         Result oriented finance managert who can easily build good communication with all Cluster and HQ Finance team members to get effective and fast results.

·         Excellent analytical, organizational, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor.

·         Collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible, with excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities

• Proactive approach of handling issues, being a self-starter and attention to detail without losing focus of the big picture is a must. Attention to detail and keen sense for accuracy
