Identity and Access Management (IAM) is a key technology pillar at Visa, responsible for providing secure access to misc. payment-related applications and services from a variety of users (employees, businesses, and customers across) globally in the most efficient, compliant, and user-friendly manner, innovatively using the latest industry standards and tools. Our goal is to become the gold standard for IAM worldwide. To stay ahead of the rapidly changing security landscape especially with the globalization of Visa's business and newer form factors of access via new devices, IOT, etc., has a direct impact on IAM Services. IAM team is rapidly growing and has a global presence in Singapore, Beijing, Bangalore, London, Austin, and Foster City.

Position: Sr Manager – Identity and Access Management 

We are seeking a hands-on Sr Manager of Software Development to lead a team of engineers to build the best Identity and Access Management solution in the world.

Visa's IAM eco-system includes an extensive, and highly customized, rich IAM platform implementation. The team has successfully implemented many of the core components. However, we have many features which to be designed and integrated to achieve an acceptable level of coverage. With the additional features and the goal of extensive coverage comes a higher level of complexity, criticality, overall usage, and dependency on the environment.

 

As part of future growth, we are seeking an experienced industry leader to become a member of our Global team of IAM experts to lead a team of engineers and influence further development, operations, and support of the IAM environment as well as interfacing with key global stakeholders at a highly technical level.

 

The successful candidate will be a thought leader with in-depth experience in software engineering & excellence, architecture & design principles, business processes, and experience in delivering mission-critical global Identity and Access Management programs. The candidate will also be required to do hands-on implementation on daily basis. The candidate will be responsible for motivating, mentoring, guiding, and unblocking the engineering team to deliver the best technical solution. 

 

Qualifications

Qualification & Skills

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or relevant professional experience
  • Minimum 10+ years’ experience in a technical leadership role, running large enterprise software development projects with good to have IAM technology stacks/tools experience
  • First Hand experience in execution of projects incorporating software engineering best practices, scalable architecture, and design principles, and test & deployment automation.
  • Prior hands-on experience on Java, Python, , Springboot,  Databases,  Angular JS, PowerShell Microservices, and web services    
  • Excellent track record in delivering highly sustainable enterprise solution and integration for T0 & T1 applications preferably in Identity and Access Management domain
  • Prior experience in agile delivery methodology
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and facilitation skills
  • CISSP, CISM, or any other industry certificate is desirable
  • Prior experience in Identity and Access Management technologies such as Sailpoint, ForgeRock, Privilaged Access Management, MFA, SSO, Cloud Solutions will be an added advantage

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee end to end software development and product operationalization working with partner teams in different time zones.
  • Manage Identity and Access Management Dev Engineering team in Bangalore
  • Ready to do hands-on work including programming and code review
  • Be Accountable for the team to always develop secure, scalable and effective technical solutions

Mentor team members to grow as industry leading software engineers and future leaders
