Job Description

What a Senior Manager, Solution Commercialization does at Visa:

As part of the team responsible for executing initiatives to develop and deploy innovations around consumer credit, debit, prepaid and engagement solutions you will be in a key position to learn about and drive Visa’s business growth. You’ll be able to get involved in driving digital adoption, diversifying Visa revenue and rapidly growing Visa credentials-in-force, activation rates and consumer spend.

The role-holder will be part of a Singapore-based team working with colleagues from across Asia-Pacific, responsible for evolving and building end-to-end consumer experiences that drive client preference for Visa as a strategic partner and make us an enabler of superior value propositions for digitally-savvy consumers.

Working closely with the SD, Solution Commercialization, you will be a key part of delivering Installments and Buy-Now-Pay-Later (BNPL) solutions across Asia-Pacific.

Once the Instalments/BNPL opportunity is addressed, you’ll also be involved in deployment of Account-Level-Management-based processing (ALM), multi-currency settlement (MCS) roll-out, as well as the delivery of Visa’s ‘Flex Account’ platform, through which Visa will expedite the migration of consumer payments from today’s card-based processes to a fully mobile-based future.

You will need to be highly collaborative and will be part of the team that’s the key interface on product development initiatives between the market teams, Hub stakeholders and Visa’s global teams to ensure our platforms drive product differentiation, consumer activation and engagement.

As well as working with in-market product and CRM teams, you will work closely with the Digital Solutions, Digital Partnerships and Design & Architecture teams in Singapore and globally.

Consumer Solutions are the key basis for Visa’s business in Asia-Pacific and encompass conventional card-based credit, debit and prepaid programs as well as newer fintech-linked solutions. Consumer Solutions span all life-stage and income segments across Visa’s Asia-Pacific markets from entry-level Prepaid and Debit products through to High Net Worth credit propositions and solutions, and as such the team is a key platform for revenue generation and consumer engagement for Visa and our clients. Instalments and BNPL solutions are an essential component of the next phase of credit growth in the region, and this role will be instrumental in executing our strategy to address the opportunity.

 

Qualifications

What you will need:

  • 8+ years work experience with some of that experience having been gained in the payments industry, preferably in product development, product management & strategy
  • Experience in financial services, fintechs, telecom, retail, and eCommerce with a keen interest in payment technology & innovation
  • Proven experience in program and project management would be highly advantageous  
  • An understanding of and interest in P&L management, macroeconomics, consumer behavior, product operations and business processes
  • Excellent MS Excel and Powerpoint skills

Projects you will be a part of:

  • Commercialization of Visa Installments Solution (VIS) and BNPL approach across Asia-Pacific
  • Development of ‘Flex Account’ designed to expedite the migration of Visa client portfolios to a digital future and integrate Instalments / BNPL into our core product set
  • Development of multi-currency-settlement based propositions to provide compelling propositions to meet the needs of travel-focused consumers, in time for a return to travel in the coming years
  • Deployment of Visa’s Account-Level-Management (ALM) capability through propositions like ‘Infinite+’ which offer issuers the opportunity to grow IRF revenue through driving active consumer spend behavior
