Job Description

You will be responsible for developing new features and new platform level capabilities. You will be working on integration initiatives and through your work on these projects you will get exposure to wider organization. You may expect to be working on security related topics as well as cloud and hybrid cloud initiatives and all that while being part of an international and distributed team adopting Agile methodologies. 

Essential Functions:

  • Leading integration efforts to reach Visa reliability standards in hybrid cloud environment 

  • Staying on top of industry standards on cloud native topics to support platform evolution 

  • Acting as an SME on security topics for business-critical projects 

  • Contributing to team’s technical growth by coaching others and sharing knowledge 

  • Driving Infrastructure topics holistically with little to no guidance 

  • Assuring high uptime of our system and low response times 

  • Automating build and deployment infrastructure 

  • Analyzing and monitoring our products’ performance from an infrastructure perspective 

  • Managing servers, applications, cloud services and container orchestration engines

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 4 +years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA,  JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD 

  • Sound production experience with AWS and openness for Hybrid cloud solutions 

  • Solid understanding of docker and docker orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes) 

  • Hands-on scripting skills(e.g Bash, Python) 

  • Experience with infrastructure as a code tools (e.g. Asnible, Terraform) 

  • Experience with CI/CD automation tools and processes
