Job Description

Our goal at Visa is to be the most creative and impactful data-led marketer in the world. We are on a journey to develop our data, capabilities and agency ecosystem to bring more effective and efficient business results to Visa. As part of this journey, we are transforming our systems, capabilities, organization and processes.

As Senior Manager – Global Marketing Analytics, you will be part of the Global Product Insights & Analytics team for Marketing, developing and providing tools and reporting capabilities to Visa Marketers globally. In this role, you will be responsible for developing state of the art data platform capabilities, building dashboards and integrations with traditional, digital, CRM and social channels to consolidate Account Based Marketing data, work with new/existing partners and solution providers on enhancements and additional capabilities to align-with, and contribute to Product Marketing B2B and B2C strategies.

You will use data sourced from Visa’s internal systems, CRM systems, and from native systems of other marketing channels such as email, digital, social, partners, and events. A successful candidate will have proficiency and led projects using tools such as Eloqua, Marketo, Salesforce, Google Analytics, Adobe (AEM, Target, DAM), cevent, ON24 and leveraging tech stacks such as Hadoop, Google cloud platform and/or relational Databases.

The position will be based at Visa's headquarters in Foster City, California. Under the direction of the Sr. Director – Product Insights & Analytics 

  • You will be responsible for product management of automated Marketing data solutions with focus on data consolidation, automation and delivery via insightful dashboards and reports
  • You will be responsible for collecting, validating business requirements from global product marketing stakeholders, building multiyear roadmaps, prioritization and execution of the road map, and user acceptance testing to ensure successful business releases in agile manner
  • You will be responsible for data modelling and architecture, data services and APIs of Marketing Data platform to ingest, transform and deliver several high value marketing solutions globally
  • You will serve as the SME on Visa transactional data, digital, social and CRM data, tools and platforms to support solutions that inform on Marketing effectiveness. You will advise on the ideal ways and hacks to track and measure campaign performance.
  • ·You will research and suggest best sources for benchmarks, second and third party data sources to add context to analysis
  • You have expertise in multi touch and single touch attribution, customer lifetime value (CLV), pipeline analytics, MQL and SQL- limitations and advantages of these methods in B2B is highly desirable
  • You will effectively collaborate with several stakeholder teams – Marketing Data Platform, Marketing, Marketing Technology, IT, Data, Infrastructure, and at all levels of management that operate in a matrix organization structure.
  • You will operate with minimal supervision and be able to make informed, well-reasoned decisions independently.

Qualifications

We are looking for a strong analytic thinker and problem solver, with a blend of skills:

Basic 

  • 8 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 5 or more years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA) 
  • You have a technical degree (Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science) with  5+ years of relevant experience.

Preferred

  • 9+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA)  
  • You are a power power user and experienced at analyzing data related to marketing activities such as content creation, events such as trade shows & conferences, webinars, partner led marketing, out bound marketing, CRM through email, media campaigns, etc
  • You have 6+ years of demonstrated strength in databases (SQL, NoSQL), data quality, schema evolution, ETL development, and data warehousing
  • You have  4+ years of Marketing data analytics (Python, R)
  • You have 4+ years of experience in Reporting tools and technologies such as Tableau, DOMO, Datorama, Qlikview, Google analytics, etc.
  • You have 2+ years of product owner experience in developing internal process improvements such as automating manual processes, alerting systems, tooling, dev ops
  •  2+ years of experience in building and maintaining data pipelines in multi-cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP)

Additional Information

Visa offices are currently closed, work is by performed by distance. Plan will evolve once it is safe to do so given current COVID-19 related constraints.

Physical Requirements    This position will be performed in an office setting.   The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment (phones and computers)


Travel Requirements:  The incumbent may be required to travel domestically
