Job Description

Visa' Agility Hub is seeking a high caliber, Business Process Architect with extensive Agile experience to drive the transformation of processes to realize Enterprise Agility across the Visa ecosystem while positively influencing the employee experience.  In this role, you will be part of Visa' Lean Agility Hub and performs complex analysis; design, configure, and implement Business process improvement, methodologies, standards, and templates as it relates to governance, scaling agility and other relevant processes required to run the business. You'll evaluate changes to workflow and provide recommendations for business capabilities and system enhancements including the use and availability of data to support business capabilities and processes. You'll collaborate with the Transformation team and relevant partners to align and enhance process solutions to business capabilities, data strategy, organizational structure, and system architecture. Works closely with counterparts in technology delivery to align technical solutions with business needs. You may have supervisory responsibility, possibly acting as coach and mentor to those adapting the new processes. You'll work to develop an integrated view of the enterprise using a repeatable approach, cohesive framework, and available industry standard techniques.

This role requires the ability to form deep relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders; active listening and communication skills; abstract technical problem solving; ability to influence and drive consensus across a diverse set of stakeholders and decision makers. A large extend of this role will focus on processes and workflows relating to the Agile work management tool and relating processes and thus a very strong agile background is a must.

Responsibilities :

  • Analyze the Visa's product delivery and development process to understand and manage the current environment, controls, identify gaps, pain points, duplications, overlaps and redundancies and recommend solutions for improvement. Assess and document all essential business processes and prioritize critical re-design.
    • Step into the Product Owner role for the re-design and implementation of critical business process : Performs process mapping, process documentation management, and business requirement gathering.
      • Produce designs that are illustrative of the tooling ecosystem and data flows involved in the solution.
      • Ensure solutions are holistic and incumbent of all tools and data flows required.
      • Makes process design recommendations to enhance workflows and improve quality based on root cause analysis, which may result in technology changes by evaluating current practices, process methodology, standards, and templates.
      • Utilizes data and tools to measure impact of changes
  • Leads the facilitation of process solutioning across the organization and functions that may include product, technology, marketing, finance, security, infrastructure and others,  influencing VPs and above, subject matter experts and technology teams to ensure collective buy in.
  • Implements a lean process architecture approach and methodology to ensure alignment with the Enterprise Agility strategy.
  • Trains and guides stakeholders and staff in process and continuous improvement techniques.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10 years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree
  • Experience working in an Agile Scrum and scaled agile environment

Preferred Qualifications

  •  Lean Six Sigma certification (L-6S) or the equivalent combination of training, education, and experience .
  • Experience with Business Process Modeling (BPMN)
  • Experience with Automated Processes, Process Mining or RPA desired.
  •  Practical understanding of application of enterprise design patterns
  •  Breadth in established and emerging software technologies
  • 2+ years' experience with Jira Align or Agile Craft
  • A broad, enterprise-wide view of the business and varying degrees of appreciation for strategy, processes, capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance
  • The ability to recognize structural issues within the organization, functional interdependencies, and cross-silo redundancies.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization; this includes written and verbal communications as well as visualizations
  • The ability to act as liaison conveying needs or constraints of the business as it relates to technology and data; applies equal conveyance regarding business strategy and IT strategy, business processes and work flow automation, business initiatives and IT initiatives, and benefit realization and service delivery
  • Business acumen and ability to understand business unit operations quickly and accurately
  • The ability to assimilate and correlate disconnected documentation and drawings, and articulate their collective relevance to the organization and to high-priority business issues
  • Team player able to work effectively at all levels of an organization with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus
  • Strong situational analysis and decision-making abilities
  • Experience with program management concepts, project management and implementation techniques, process re-engineering and change management
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office including Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio. Ability to adapt to new technology.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
