Senior Product Manager - Urban Mobility Pay-in-Advance (PIA)

JOB DESCRIPTION 

The Global Urban Mobility team is seeking a highly qualified Senior Product Manager who is passionate about the urban mobility space. This individual will lead one of our priority areas in Urban Mobility: Pay in Advance solutions, which includes Prepaid, Private Label and other future service capabilities. You will work closely with the Product Managers for Pay in Advance solutions, in concert with our multi-disciplinary global working team, to support the development, growth, and prioritization of the opportunities pipeline for Urban Mobility.  This includes the essential functions below:

Essential Functions

·       Own and actively build and manage pipeline of Urban Mobility Pay in Advance opportunities across all regions.

·       Work closely with regional leads and global stakeholders to support regional teams in identifying and pursuing those opportunities.

·       Serve as SME and lead the delivery of a small number of key projects around the world, and become the primary point of contact for regional leads and teams on all matters related to Pay in Advance for Urban Mobility.

·       Work with partners / potential partners to pursue opportunities / add value and take responsibility for the development of feature roadmaps for each product area.

·       Provide reporting on KPIs and other key activities related to Pay in Advance.

·       Support key priorities and initiatives from both GUM team and Global leadership as required.

·       As requirements of this role evolve, adapt to growing needs of the team and broader products organization.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 8 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 5 or more years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

  • 9+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3+years of experience with a PhD
  • Deep experience in the payments industry, particularly in a planning, project or program capacities.
  • Previous experience with Prepaid and Private Label solutions.
  • Previous experience of successful implementation and project rollout activity.
  • Broad knowledge and experience of the complexities of the urban mobility payment frameworks and ecosystems.
  • Broad knowledge and understanding of relevant ecosystem technologies.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of the commercial drivers for both Visa and our clients.

Incumbent must make themselves available during core business hours.

Physical Requirements

This position, in future, may be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, and reach with hands and arms.
