Team Summary

The Visa Business Solutions (VBS) team is a world-class commercial organization experiencing tremendous, double-digit growth as we expand into new payment flows and continue to grow our core card solutions. This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our team as we expand to bring payment solutions and associated services to clients around the globe.  Our global clients and partners deploy our solutions to serve the needs of Small Businesses, Middle Market Clients, Large Corporate Clients and Governments.  We work closely with Financial Institutions, Issuers, Merchants, FinTechs and other ecosystem players to deliver these services.  We believe that the market is at an inflection point whereby Visa can play a larger role in building and delivering solutions around the world.  Our focus within Business Solutions is to identify needs, assess opportunities and options and quickly act upon our vision while ensuring strong execution. 

What a Manager, Products and Solutions does at Visa:

Visa is looking for a dedicated product manager to join our regional Business Solutions team in Singapore and be responsible for driving the execution of the Asia Pacific strategy for Visa’s Commercial Products and Solutions team.

As a natural collaborator, you will develop a network of key cross functional stakeholders across the region including various product teams, sales, client support and work directly with clients and implementation partners to expand the usage of Visa’s Commercial Capabilities. Supporting pre-sales activities, helping shape engagements. This includes and not limited to the following: assess customer business process needs and identify applicable functional capabilities required, helping them add various capabilities to achieve success with Market Teams in the region.

This role requires you to:

  • Develop and own product expertise over time to proactively advocate, as a subject matter expert to clients, partners and internal stakeholders which will require a deep understanding of product functionality, and roadmap, regulatory and compliance issues, and the technology and operational environment of target customers, including the major operational risk issues.
  • Drive client decision making through production of tailored presentations and client analysis 
  • Execute the implementation of product enhancements supported by Global Product
  • Ensure compliance with products, brand, and risk management standards
  • Collect and organize market intelligence and client specific feedback from financial institutions / fintech’s and businesses to contribute to the strategic global roadmap for prioritization.
  • Effectively navigate problem solving opportunities which vary widely in nature.
  • Engage with clients to gain feedback on new product offerings for continuous improvements
  • Identify opportunities for client performance optimization of products and services
  • Transition products and services, once developed, to core support and implementations teams to reach market scalability goals and define production support framework
  • Identify opportunities to improve inter-regional processes and procedures.
  • Leverage appropriate Visa assets and resources to provide an exceptional implementation & integration experience to clients.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal key stakeholders.

Qualifications

You are a problem solver, good at communication and has an acumen for technology, you embrace it! Smart, driven and want to make a difference in the world? You’ll fit right in!

  • 6 years’ experience involving product management, presales consulting and/or launching new products ( flexible if experience includes B2B specific solutions)
  • Skilled in designing comprehensive solutions that are relevant to the client's needs.
  • A Proven record of accomplishment of success with evidence of supporting high performance teams to deliver transformational change.
  • Strong verbal communication and presentation skills that can effectively engage and influence closing an opportunity with market sales teams as an SME.
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment with multiple stakeholders and create project teams with cross functional teams
  • Keen attention to detail and organized and committed to execution and continuous product enhancement
  • A proactive and collaborative problem-solver who can work independently with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders including senior executives.

What will also help:

  • Experience in client engagement in a product management / presales roles
  • Demonstrated ability to research, understand business process and to propose ideas to deliver solutions
  • Has worked with API’s and has a good understanding of technical concepts Evidence of the ability to deliver technology change in this category, including close partnership in cross-functional teams, gathering required internal approvals, managing launch plans and communications. This requires the ability to own and deliver a plan or to work collaboratively on larger projects.
  • Knowledge of systems used in payments, mobile and e-commerce, authentication, 4-party payment model, authorization and clearing process, near field communication (NFC) and tokenization while keeping step with ever evolving market developments

Visa’s product and capabilities team is accelerating the regional growth and innovation of B2B payments by enabling new payment flows. We own all of Visa’s commercial API’s and data capabilities in the region and this allows us to deliver use-case specific projects which are first-of-a-kind.
