Job Description

What is it all about?

The Senior Data Analytics Manager role is the key position in Digital Products team, responsible for driving ecosystem performance of Digital Products in Europe. The role will manage performance related KPIs and ensure the right actions are being taken to optimise client, partner and product performance across all key markets. The Senior Performance Manager is also responsible for defining and prioritizing product features and operational changes required to optimise performance of partner and client implementations of our digital products and solutions.

What we expect of you, day to day

  • Responsible for driving ecosystem performance of Digital Products in Europe
  • Solve business problems & develop business solutions:  Use product knowledge and problem-solving methodologies to identify underlying causes and propose creative solutions to drive greater ecosystem performance for our digital products
  • Design and implement reporting dashboards that track performance trends and provide measurable insights to executive leadership
  • Mine data and analytics at the customer level to gain a better understanding of their usage behaviors, including impacts of current strategies. Develop visualizations to make your complex analyses accessible to a broad audience
  • Produce presentations, charts, and executive summaries that clearly communicate findings to internal partners
  • Produce regular detailed reporting on client/partner performance and work with in-market product and other client facing teams to support clients and partners in delivering higher performance from our digital products and solutions
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to understand the challenges they face and convince them with data
  • Project manage performance activities; facilitate, train, monitor and track the performance management activities and drive action plans for EU markets

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree, or equivalent professional experience, in an analytical field such as statistics, operations research, economics, computer science or many others
  • 8-10 years of professional experience in performance enhancement, operations or sales/marketing support (sales engineering) for technical products including payments, business intelligence, data platforms or other data driven products
  • Excellent understanding of payment systems and message sets, including Network Tokenisation, 3-D Secure, Visa Direct, ISO 8583, ISO 20022
  • Experience in data-based decision-making or quantitative analysis
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to interact with different cross-functional team members at varying levels
  • Strong interpersonal skills – able to present complex concepts in a simplified and concise manner that is tailored to the needs and understanding of key stakeholders
  • Strong experience with extracting and aggregating data from large data sets using SQL or other tools
  • Outstanding knowledge and experience in Excel, PowerPoint and Tableau.
  • Ability to learn new tools and paradigms as data related tools to evolve at Visa and elsewhere.
  • Demonstrate intellectual and analytical rigor, team oriented, energetic, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible style
  • Intellectually curious and continuously striving to learn
  • Be an out-of-the-box thinker who is passionate about brainstorming innovative ways to use our unique data to answer business problems
  • Experience in financial services, credit/Debit cards or merchant analytics is highly desirable
