Job Description

The Global Business Optimization team has a simple mission: we turn massive amounts of data into actionable insights that drive business value. The work of our team is to develop data assets that will lead to performance improvement, cost reduction and automation.  Our goal as internal reporting is to support Client Services team to operate efficiently providing them with data products that measure performance and provide early awareness of any deviation from the goals/challenges Client Services has ahead.

As part of the Client Services (CS) organization, this role will be responsible for one key deliverable: shorten the distance between questions and data-driven answers for our global organization. We derive value from our data assets and analytic resources supporting management in several fronts as CRM migrations, identifying areas of opportunity, tracking appropriate workload, developing teammate’s performance models, etc.

Robust automation, effective visualization, and both experience and understanding of how to utilize big data environments is critical. The ability to manage BAU reporting activities in parallel with projects and new initiatives having the adequate setting and balance of priorities is essential to the success of the role.  Innovation and a willingness to challenge traditional paradigms are important to the success of the role.

Responsibilities

  • Lead data support and reporting efforts for Client Service organization.
  • Bring best in class big data and visualization practices to the overall reporting suite in partnership with analysis and technical support.
  • Oversee the review, refinement and streamlining of reporting efforts resulting on the consolidation of the report portfolio
  • Communicate openly with stakeholders to ensure reporting products meet business needs without oversubscribing resources
  • Ensure commitments are kept and deviations from plan/BAU are socialized
  • Manage the automation of reporting efforts reducing the data manipulation/conversion as much as possible.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor/expert to internal business partners on advanced analytic and big data issues.
  • Get to an understanding of root problems, define analytical objectives and formalize data requirements for various types of analyses.
  • Combine and analyze disparate data sources and derive insights in a Big Data environment
  • Proactively facilitate the overall analytic delivery strategy for the organization

POSITION CAN BE BASED IN EITHER THE MIAMI OR ATLANTA OFFICE LOCATIONS (Sponsorship and/or Relocation will not be provided)

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2 years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
  • Experience automating and streamlining processes, data collection and reporting.
  • Data visualization skills are required.
  • High level of proficiency manipulating and aggregating data in both standard and non-standard formats from a variety of sources. 
  • Big data skills as well as relational databases skills (i.e SQL).
  • Must be proficient in MS Office applications
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish

Preferred Qaulifications:

  • 3 or more years working with data analysis and/or insight delivery with a BachelorsDegree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD\
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience working with data analysis and/or insight delivery

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
