Job Description

The Visa Internship Program is the biggest step you can take to joining our team supporting our global employees.  Our Total Rewards - Benefits team designs, implements, and administers our global benefits plans which includes retirement, medical, dental, and vision plans, among many others.  We are looking for analytical and detailed oriented individuals who are excited to learn about employee benefit plans, and how they make meaningful impacts on our employees, and their families, lives.  

During the 12 week internship at Visa, candidates can expect to participate in:

  • Open Enrollment planning and implementation
  • employee escalations
  • payroll reconciliations
  • wellbeing activities

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Students pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree with a graduation date Dec 2022 thru Aug 2024
  • Strong communications skills, specifically, the absence of repeated grammatical or typographical errors, clear and concise written and spoken communications, and communications that demonstrate professional judgment.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. is a precondition of employment for this position. Visa will not sponsor applicants for work visas in connection with this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • The ability to take on challenges and address problems head-on
  • Strong ability to collaborate
  • Highly driven, resourceful and results oriented
  • Experience in an innovative business with a preference in Technology industry working in progressive HR models preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong business acumen

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
